A cell image segmentation method using scribble labels includes iteratively pre-training via an image segmentation network (U-Net) using a cell image and scribble labels indicating a cell region and a background region as training data, calculating an exponential moving average (EMA) of image segmentation prediction probabilities at a predetermined interval during the pre-training, self-training by assigning the cell region and the background region for which the EMA of image segmentation prediction probabilities is over a preset threshold to be a pseudo-label, and iteratively refining the image segmentation prediction probability based on a scribbled loss (L) obtained through a result of the training and an unscribbled loss (L). Accordingly, it is possible to achieve cell image segmentation with high reliability using only scribble labels.

A cabinet defining defines an external appearance of the laundry treatment apparatus. A top is cover located at the top of the cabinet. The top cover is provided at both sides thereof with holder insertion portions respectively and a holder configured to be inserted into each of the holder insertion portions to couple the top cover to the cabinet. The holder includes a base part coupled to an upper end of the cabinet and a holding part located on the base part to prevent the holder insertion portion from being separated from the base part inserted therein. The holding part is inserted into the holder insertion portion and then the top cover is moved rearward to cause the base part to be inserted into the holder insertion portion.

Disclosed are an optical display device producing uniform light distribution and a method of fabricating such devices. The optical display device has waveguides arranged in vertical and horizontal directions. The waveguide has a conical shape whose cross-section decreases towards the light-projection side thereof. At least one of the size, height, spacing, and refraction index of the waveguide is designed to be different for each section, depending on an incident angle and/or intensity of light inputted from a light source. Therefore, the intensity of projected light can be made uniform over all sections of the optical device.

Display device uniforming light distribution throughout areas and method for manufacturing same

Disclosed is an optical device for a display having a tapered waveguide and a method of fabricating such devices. In order to reduce light absorption inside the waveguide, a light-absorbing material is coated on the front surface only of the optical device Alternatively, a space adjacent to the waveguide is coated with a material having a refraction index different from the waveguide, preferably, lower than that of the waveguide and then filled with a light-absorbing material. In addition, a large- and uniform-sized light-absorbing material may be filled in the space. The optical device has an improved light efficiency, and thus exhibits an excellent luminance, as compared with the conventional ones, when using an identical light source. Furthermore, the fabrication method can produce such optical devices in a simplified manner, thus improving production efficiency.
