A display device includes a display panel including pixels, a data driver which applies a dithering data voltage to the display panel, and a driving controller which determines whether to perform a dithering operation of applying the dithering data voltage to the display panel based on input image data. The display device alternately changes the dithering data voltage in units of one frame when the dithering operation is performed at a first dithering frequency or a third dithering frequency, and alternately changes the dithering data voltage in units of N frames when the dithering operation is performed at a second dithering frequency.

Display device and method of driving the same

A printed circuit board includes: a base member, a first line and a second line disposed on the base member, and a plurality of pad portions disposed on the base member. Each of the plurality of pad portions includes: a first input pad and a second input pad connected to the first line, respectively, and which receives an electrical signal or voltage. Each of the plurality of pad portions includes a first output pad and a second output pad connected to the second line, respectively, and which provide the electrical signal or the voltage to a display panel.

Printed circuit board and display device including the same

A display device includes a substrate including a display area and a peripheral area surrounding the display area, a plurality of pads in a first direction of the peripheral area of the substrate and in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and a circuit film on the pads. Each of the pads includes a signal line on the substrate, a first dummy pattern on the substrate and spaced apart from the signal line in the first direction, and a first insulating pattern between the signal line and the first dummy pattern on the substrate.

Display device

A display device includes a display panel including a pixel layer displaying an image, and a pad part electrically connected to the pixel layer. The display device includes a flexible circuit film combined with the pad part of the display panel. The flexible circuit film includes a base film, a first conductive line disposed on a first surface of the base film, a first conductive pad extending from the first conductive line and electrically connected to the pad part of the display panel, a cover layer covering the first conductive line and exposing the first conductive pad, and a protrusion pattern disposed on the cover layer, adjacent to the first conductive pad, and facing a side surface of the display panel.

A display apparatus includes a display panel including first display pads and second display pads spaced apart from the first display pads, a main circuit board, a first flexible circuit board which connects the main circuit board to the first display pads, a second flexible circuit board which connects the main circuit board to the second display pads and overlaps at least a portion of the first flexible circuit board, heat radiation members on the first and second flexible circuit boards, and a deformation prevention member spaced apart from the heat radiation members and disposed on at least one of the first and second flexible circuit boards. The deformation prevention member includes a metal.

Display apparatus

A display apparatus includes a display panel which have first display pads arranged in a first direction, a main circuit board, a first flexible circuit board which includes first substrate pads connected to the main circuit board and the first display pads and a first driving chip connected to the first substrate pads, and is bent in a direction toward a back surface of the display panel, and a protective member disposed on the first flexible circuit board. The protective member covers the first driving chip.

A display device includes a display panel including pixels disposed at rows and columns, first data lines respectively disposed at the columns, and second data lines respectively disposed at the columns, a first data driver connected to the first data lines, and a second data driver connected to the second data lines. A first portion of the pixels are connected to the first data lines, and a second portion of the pixels are connected to the second data lines. The first data driver provides first gray voltages corresponding to a first gamma curve to the first portion of the pixels through the first data lines, and the second data driver provides second gray voltages corresponding to a second gamma curve different from the first gamma curve to the second portion of the pixels through the second data lines.

Display device including data drivers

A display device includes a first display substrate including a display area and a non-display area, a second display substrate facing the first display substrate and including an end portion corresponding to the non-display area and extending along a first direction; a connection circuit board connected to the first display substrate at the non-display area thereof and disposed adjacent to the end portion of the second display substrate; and a first spacer and a second spacer each on the end portion of the second display substrate, and spaced apart from each other along the first direction to define a space therebetween. Along a second direction which crosses the first direction, a central portion of the connection circuit board connected to the first display substrate faces the space between the first spacer and the second spacer on the second display substrate.
