A vehicle providing a personalization setting function using a camera used for a face authentication system includes: a camera configured to have a field of view facing an outside of the vehicle; a communicator configured to wirelessly communicate with a remote controller of the vehicle; a storage storing a plurality of reference face images and a personalization setting corresponding to each of the plurality of reference face images; and a controller electrically connected to the camera, the communicator and the storage and configured to: detect the remote controller based on a signal received from the remote controller through the communicator; activate the camera based on the remote controller being detected; and control at least one electronic device of the vehicle according to a personalization setting corresponding to a first reference face image among the plurality of reference face images, based on a similarity score between the first reference face image and a first image obtained from the camera being greater than a first threshold value.

A vehicle, which includes a display and enables a driver to easily observe an occupant in a rear seat, includes a rear camera configured to acquire a rear image and having a visual field directed toward a rear side of the vehicle, a display part configured to display the rear image, at least one rear-seat camera configured to acquire at least one rear-seat image and each having a visual field directed toward the rear seat of the vehicle, and a controller configured to control the display part to display all the rear image and the at least one rear-seat image on the basis that a preset condition is satisfied.

An embodiment vehicle includes a camera and a controller configured to determine a distance between the camera and a face of an object based on a face image acquired by the camera, perform an iris authentication based on the distance being shorter than a preset distance, and perform a face authentication based on the distance being greater than the preset distance.

The vehicle includes a camera provided on the vehicle and configured to capture an image of an object outside the vehicle, a controller configured to determine a photographing position required for facial recognition from the captured image, a guide configured to guide the photographing position, and a display configured to display a result of the facial recognition.

In accordance with an aspect of disclosure, the vehicle includes a first sensor configured to measure a distance to an object; a second sensor configured to measure a temperature of the object; a camera configured to acquire an image of the object; and a controller configured to activate the second sensor when the distance to the object measured by the first sensor satisfies the condition for performing heat detection, and activate the camera when the temperature of the object measured by the second sensor satisfies a condition for performing facial recognition.

An embodiment vehicle includes a display device, an input device configured to obtain an input of a user, a smart key identifying device configured to search for a smart key of a plurality of smart keys, and a controller electrically connected to the display device, the input device, and the smart key identifying device, wherein the controller is configured to control the smart key identifying device to search for the smart key located inside the vehicle based on receiving a first command for executing a face registration process through the input device and to determine whether to proceed with the face registration process based on how many of the plurality of smart keys are identified as being inside the vehicle.

A vehicle may include a camera configured to acquire a face image of a user approaching from outside the vehicle and a gesture image of the user; a communication module configured for communicating with a mobile device; a door locking device configured to lock a door of the vehicle or unlock the door of the vehicle; and a processor configured to perform user authentication based on the user's surface image, and unlock the door when the user authentication is successful, and the processor may be configured to control the communication module to transmit the user's face image to a pre-registered mobile device when the user authentication fails a preset number of times, control the communication module to receive an emergency access signal from the pre-registered mobile device, and control the door locking device to unlock the door when a user's gesture image satisfies an unlock condition.

Vehicle configured for reducing cost by performing a plurality of functions using a single camera, may include a camera; a at least one sensor configured to obtain location information related to a driver; a moving portion connected to the camera and configured to adjust a photographing direction of the camera; and a controller connected to the at least one sensor and the moving portion and configured to control the moving portion so that the photographing direction of the camera faces the outside of the vehicle or the inside of the vehicle according to the location information related to the driver.
