An artificial intelligence-based control method is disclosed. In an artificial intelligence-based control method according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, when a user approaches within a set sensing range of a device, the device may capture a user image and predict whether the user has an intent to use the device by using motion features included in the captured image. An AI control method of the present disclosure may be associated with an artificial intelligent module, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), a robot, an augmented reality (AR) device, a virtual reality (VR) device, a 5G service-related device, etc.

Controlling of device based on user recognition utilizing vision and speech features

An extended reality (XR) device and a method for controlling the same are disclosed. The XR device is applicable to 5G communication technology, robot technology, autonomous driving technology, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. The XR device includes a communication module configured to communicate with a Head-Mounted Display (HMD) that is worn by a user to provide the user with Virtual Reality (VR) content, a camera configured to receive an image of a first space including the user, and a processor configured to transmit VR content to the HMD through the communication module. The processor recognizes a position of the user and positions of a plurality of real-world objects within an image of the first space. When the user moves closer to at least one of the recognized objects by a predetermined distance or less, the processor warns the user of possibility of collision with the at least one recognized object.

XR device and method for controlling the same

An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device includes a case and a battery cover forming an appearance of the electronic device and a printed circuit board mounted inside the case and provided with electronic elements. A measurement sensor is mounted on at least a portion of the printed circuit board. One surface of a recess of the printed circuit board, on which the measurement sensor is mounted, is formed at a different height from other portion of the printed circuit board in a thickness direction of the electronic device. The recess, on which the measurement sensor is mounted, is thinner than the other portion and is spaced apart from the other portion, and thus the electronic device can more accurately measure a body temperature of a user.
