A foldable display apparatus includes a display panel including a flexible substrate, in which at least one folding area folded based on a folding axis and non-folding areas disposed at one side and the other side of the folding area are defined, a glass substrate disposed below the flexible substrate, including an opening portion corresponding to the folding area, and a pattern frame disposed below the glass substrate, wherein the flexible substrate includes at least one groove pattern formed to overlap the folding area, and the groove pattern is formed on a rear surface of the flexible substrate.

A display apparatus includes a display area, a non-display area surrounding the display area, and a bending area formed in at least one side of the non-display area. The display apparatus includes a first glass substrate provided in the display area, a second glass substrate provided in the non-display area, an anti-etching member provided to overlap the bending area, and a link line portion formed on the anti-etching member and formed to overlap the non-display area.

A light-controlling device is provided. The light-controlling device includes a first substrate, a second substrate disposed opposite the first substrate, and a partition wall separating the first and second substrates to define a cell. An optical medium containing charged particles is disposed within the cell between the first and second substrates. A plurality of first electrodes is disposed on the first substrate, and a plurality of second electrodes is disposed on the second substrate to generate electrical field within the cell to move at least some of the charged particles. Each of the first electrodes has a first width and a first thickness, and each of the second electrodes has a second width and a second thickness. Each of the second electrodes is disposed at an interval of a third width such that the open region on the second substrate between the second electrodes corresponds to the first electrode on the first substrate.
