A lens assembly and/or an electronic device including the same are provided. The lens assembly and/or the electronic device include an image sensor and three lenses sequentially arranged along an optical axis from an object side to an image sensor side. In the three lenses, a first lens disposed on the object side may include an object side surface convex toward the object and an image sensor side surface convex toward the image sensor while having positive power, a second lens may include an object side surface concave toward the image sensor while having negative power, and a third lens may have negative power. Lens assembly and electronic device including the same

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing, a display panel, and a camera device. The housing may have an inner space. The display panel may be disposed in the inner space of the housing to be visible from an outside and may include a transmission area formed as a part of an active area thereof. The camera device may be disposed under the display panel such that the transmission area of the display panel is overlapped with an angle of view of the camera device. The transmission area contains a plurality of pixels or a plurality of wirings having an arrangement density lower than in a surrounding active area when the display panel is viewed from above. The display panel may include an opaque layer disposed thereunder, having a plurality of openings, and overlapped with the transmission area when the display panel is viewed from above.

Disclosed herein is a lens assembly that includes an aperture stop and at least three lenses. The first lens is disposed closer to the image sensor than the aperture stop, the first lens including two convex surfaces. The second lens is disposed closer to the image sensor than the first lens, and includes convex and concave surfaces. And the third lens is disposed closer to the image sensor than the second lens. A lens assembly may include: a first lens having positive refractive power and including a convex subject side surface; a second lens; a third lens having negative refractive power and including a subject side surface being convex toward an image secsor side in a center portion thereof, through which an optical axis passes; a fourth lens having positive or negative refractive power; and a fifth lens having positive or negative refractive power. The first lens, the second lens, the third lens, the fourth lens, and the fifth lens may be sequentially arranged from a subject to an image sensor along the optical axis. The lens assembly may satisfy a condition defined by 0.6&#x3c;TTL/ImgH&#x3c;1, where 'TTL' represents a distance from the subject side surface of the first lens to an imaging surface of the image sensor, and 'ImgH' represents a maximum image height of an image formed on the imaging surface.
