A display device includes a first substrate, a plurality of pixels on the first substrate, a second substrate on the plurality of pixels, a sealing portion surrounding the plurality of pixels and located between the first substrate and the second substrate, a first wiring extending in a first direction outside the plurality of pixels, and a second wiring partially surrounding the plurality of pixels, in a plane view, in which the second wiring comprises an extension portion arranged in parallel to the first direction between the first wiring and an edge of the first substrate, and the sealing portion fills an area between the extension portion and the first wiring.

A display cell includes a signal line electrically connected to a pixel arranged in a display area, a signal pad unit disposed in a peripheral area adjacent to the display area, and including a signal pad electrically connected to the signal line, an inspection pad unit disposed in a turn-on inspection area, and including an inspection pad electrically connected to the signal pad, where the inspection pad is configured to receive a turn-on inspection signal, and a power supply voltage line configured to apply a power supply voltage to the pixel, extending from the inspection pad unit to the peripheral area, and divided into a plurality of sublines by at least one slit pattern in a cut-off area between the peripheral area and the turn-on inspection area.

A display device includes a display layer including an active area including a plurality of pixel areas, and a peripheral area adjacent to the active area, an insulating layer disposed on the display layer, the insulating layer including at least one first opening overlapping the plurality of pixel areas, and at least one second opening in the peripheral area, a refractive index layer disposed on the insulating layer, having a refractive index greater than a refractive index of the insulating layer, and spaced apart from the at least one second opening, and a polarizing layer overlapping the refractive index layer.
