Provided are a basic electrocatalyst applied to a carbon dioxide reduction and ethylene production system, a basic electrocatalyst electrode and an apparatus each including the same, and a method of manufacturing the basic electrocatalyst electrode. The basic electrocatalyst electrode for for carbon dioxide reduction and ethylene production includes: catalyst particles each including copper hydroxide (Cu(OH)); and a basic compound. Since the basic electrocatalyst electrode has high carbon dioxide reduction performance and high ethylene selectivity, the basic electrocatalyst electrode may be applied to a reduction electrode of a carbon dioxide reduction and ethylene production apparatus and may exhibit high current density and high ethylene selectivity. The basic electrocatalyst electrode may be manufactured by a simple method, and may be applied to a large-area electrode.

The present invention relates to forcibly downloading a program in a mobile communications terminal. Preferably, a memory of the terminal is divided into a boot binary region and a main binary region. A boot program and a main program of a binary program are then downloaded to the boot binary region and the main binary region, respectively. Whether the downloading of the binary program is successful or not is then recorded in a particular address of the memory. After, it is determined whether to enter a forcible download mode by checking a value of the particular address.

Forcibly downloading program in mobile communications terminal

A method for determining connection of an external device to a mobile communication terminal is provided. The method comprises detecting connection of an external device to a mobile communication terminal based on a signal generated by a first operation module of the mobile communication terminal; activating a connection interrupt routine, in response to the signal generated by the first operation module; controlling an active status of a second operation module by way of the first operation module to switch system operations from a first clock speed to a second clock speed; and establishing a signal transfer path between the mobile communication terminal and the external device.
