A pixel includes a pixel circuit and a storage circuit. The pixel circuit provides a driving current corresponding to a data signal to an organic light emitting diode. The storage circuit provides the data signal to the pixel circuit. The storage circuit includes a storage capacitor to store the data signal and a control transistor to transmit a data signal supplied from a data output line to the storage capacitor when the control transistor is turned on.

In an embodiment of the present invention, a display device includes a display unit including a plurality of pixels, a first power supply unit configured to supply a first power voltage to the display unit, and a second power supply unit configured to cyclically supply a second power voltage to the display unit during a frame period.

Display device and driving method of the same

An organic light emitting display device includes pixel unit, a power supply, and a timing controller. The power supply supplies a driving voltage to the pixel unit. The timing controller divides the pixel unit into a plurality of regions, calculates color on-pixel ratio (C-OPR) values of the regions based on image data, and controls the power supply based on the C-OPR values of the regions.
