A vehicle battery fire sensing apparatus and method includes a battery pack mounted to a vehicle structure and an electronic control unit. The battery pack includes a battery module including one or more battery cells, a battery management system configured to transmit a signal received from the battery module to the electronic control unit, and a battery pack case having a gas discharge portion configured to allow venting gas to be discharged therethrough. The vehicle battery fire sensing apparatus further includes a sensor provided at the vehicle structure, the sensor being configured to measure at least one of the temperature or pressure of the gas discharged from the gas discharge portion.

Provided is an interconnection member including: (a) a main cable made of a flexible flat cable (FFC) including a plurality of copper wires; (b) a plurality of terminal parts branched from the main cable and electrically connected to at least one of the copper wires of the main cable, the plurality of terminal parts being connected to the bus bars to sense voltages of the battery cells; (c) a connecting part formed on one-side end of the main cable, and electrically and mechanically connected to the PCB; and (d) at least one temperature sensing part branched from the main cable, adjacent to the connecting part, while sharing at least one of the copper wires of the main cable.

A battery cell assembly in which a plurality of electrically connected battery cells are arranged and first and second outer cover members each having a plate-type structure surrounding an outer surface of the battery cell assembly and coupled to each other by a fastening member in a state in which corners corresponding to each other are in contact with each other. Here, each of the first and second outer cover members includes at least one fastening groove having a slit shape, and the fastening grooves of the first and second outer cover members are perforated at positions corresponding to each other of corners contacting each other, and the first and second outer cover members are coupled to each other in such a manner that both side ends, which face each other, of the fastening member are respectively inserted into the fastening grooves in a clamping manner.
