A parallel link robot includes a base unit, a movable part disposed below the base unit, a plurality of arms that connect the base unit and the movable part in parallel, and a wrist shaft that penetrates through the movable part along an axis extending in a vertical direction and is driven and rotated about the axis with respect to the movable part. A jig mount for detachably mounting a positioning jig is provided on one of an upper surface of the movable part and an upper portion of the wrist shaft exposed on the upper surface. A contact surface with which the positioning jig mounted on the jig mount makes contact is provided on the other one of the movable part and the wrist shaft, or a contact member having the contact surface can be detachably mounted onto the other one of the movable part and the wrist shaft.

Parallel link robot and robot system

A seal member interposed between a first member and a second member. The seal member includes a seal main body attached to one of the first member and the second member, and a protection cover attached to the seal main body, and the seal main body has a seal lip having contact with or close to the other one of the first member and the second member, a bent portion formed on one end of the metal ring of the seal main body is in contact with an outer-periphery portion of the protection cover, and the seal main body is in contact with a part of the protection cover in the axial direction, and the part is located at a position different from the outer-periphery portion.

Seal member and robot

A parallel link robot includes: a base portion; a movable portion; link portions coupling the base and movable portions; and actuators attached to the base portion and driving the respective link portions. Each of the link portions includes drive links swung around axes by the respective actuators, and two each of the passive links parallel to each other and swingably arranged between the drive link and the each of the movable portions. The robot includes a drive unit disposed parallel to the two passive links of at least one of the link portions and between the passive links and drives a mechanical unit attached to the movable portion. The drive unit is attached to the drive link with a joint, swingably coupling the drive unit to the drive link around at least mutually intersecting axes, on a straight-line coupling swinging center points of the passive links and the drive link.

Parallel link robot

A joint cover is removably attached to a joint of a robot including first and second joint members, and a spherical bearing coupling the first and second joint members, wherein the bearing includes a ball shank including a shaft part fixed to the first joint member and including a ball part at one end of the shaft part, and a holder fixed to an end of the second joint member and including a ball receiver configured to enclose and support the ball part, the joint cover includes a body made of an elastic material and configured to cover the holder and the end of the second joint member, and the body includes two through-holes respectively allowing for insertion of the shaft part and the second joint member, and the joint cover includes a slit configured to open and close and to make the two through-holes continuous with each other.

Industrial robot

An umbilical member arrangement structure capable of properly arranging an umbilical member in a parallel link robot. A first additional actuator is arranged on a passive link part of a parallel link robot. An Umbilical member is withdrawn from an opening formed on a generally circular bottom surface of a base part, while having a margin, approaches the passive link part, while extending in an intersecting direction with respect to a longitudinal direction of the passive link part, and is connected to the first additional actuator. The 'intersecting direction' means a direction extending at an angle of 70 to 110 degrees, preferably 80 to 100 degrees, more preferably about 90 degrees, with respect to the longitudinal direction of the passive link part.
