The present disclosure relates to a video wall. The video wall according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a plurality of displays; an image divider configured to divide an input image into a plurality of images; and at least one controller, wherein in response to a video being repeatedly played back, the at least one controller is configured to calculate an accumulated luminance value for each block on the plurality of displays during a first period when the video is repeatedly played back and calculate a luminance compensation value for each block based on the calculated accumulated luminance, and the plurality of displays display the video based on the luminance compensation value during a second period following the first period. Accordingly, an afterimage occurring due to the repeatedly played video may be reduced.

The signal processing device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a frame buffer to store an input image and output an output image, an output synchronization signal calculator to calculate an output synchronization signal based on an input synchronization signal and a size or a position of the output image in comparison with the input image, and an output synchronization signal output interface to output a variable output synchronization signal of which a start timing changes based on a signal from the output synchronization signal calculator, wherein a difference between a start timing of the input synchronization signal and a start timing of the output synchronization signal changes based on the size of the output image. Accordingly, a delay time may be reduced in response to the output image having a size different from a size of the input image being output.

The present disclosure relates to a video wall. The video wall according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a plurality of displays disposed adjacent to each other; an image divider configured to divide an input image into a plurality of images; and at least one controller configured to control a plurality of image display apparatuses, wherein in response to a video displayed on the plurality of image display apparatuses being repeatedly played back, the controller is configured to store a boundary area and transmit the stored boundary area to adjacent image display apparatuses, and the respective image display apparatuses synthesize a received boundary area with an image area to be displayed, and display a portion of the synthesized image. Accordingly, an occurrence of black areas may be reduced while reducing afterimage on the video wall comprising the plurality of displays.

A display device includes a display unit, an external device interface unit configured to receive video having a second frequency from a set-top box converting an original video having a first frequency into the video having the second frequency, and a control unit configured to: determine whether an abnormal output state is detected, based on the video having the second frequency; when the abnormal output state is detected, determine the number of interpolation frames to be generated so as to output the original video having the first frequency as final video having a third frequency through the display unit; and generate interpolation frames as many as the determined number of interpolation frames.
