Methods for flow control in a network are disclosed. In a dual connectivity network environment where a master base station and a secondary base station exist, an operation method of a master base station may comprise transmitting a data frame including a plurality of data packets to a secondary base station; receiving, from the secondary base station, a delivery status frame requesting retransmission of error data packet among the plurality of data packets; and retransmitting the error data packet indicated by the delivery status frame to the secondary base station. Therefore, network performance can be enhanced.

Method for flow control in network

An Ethernet-MOST gateway apparatus for exchanging data between a MOST network transferring multimedia data within a vehicle and a packet network for a computer and Internet communications. The Ethernet-MOS gateway apparatus including: an Ethernet frame interface unit connected with a packet network to transmit and receive an Ethernet frame, and converting the Ethernet frame into a MOST frame; a MOST frame interface unit connected with a MOST network to transmit and receive the MOST frame, and converting the MOST frame into the Ethernet frame; and a switch fabric connecting the Ethernet frame interface unit and the MOST frame interface unit.

Ethernet-MOST gateway apparatus

The Ethernet packet transmission apparatus includes: a packet transceiving unit for transceiving an Ethernet packet through a plurality of Ethernet ports; a MAC header processing unit for receiving the Ethernet packet and reading header information; a packet processing unit for receiving the Ethernet packet, classifying the received Ethernet packet on a service or destination basis, assigning a priority label to the classified Ethernet packet on a packet-by-packet basis, and outputting memory state information on the corresponding port; a congestion controlling unit for controlling a position in an output sequence of the Ethernet packet; and a signal processing unit for receiving and comparing the port state information and the memory state information and outputting either a memory control signal or a congestion control signal to control the packet processing unit and the congestion controlling unit.
