A light module includes a first light emitter, a second light emitter, a third light emitter, and a controller. The first light emitter is configured to emit a first light having a first peak wavelength in a visible range, the second light emitter is configured to emit a second light having a waveform having a second peak wavelength higher than the first peak wavelength, and the third light emitter is configured to emit a third light having a third peak wavelength that is shorter than the first peak wavelength. The controller is configured to control the first light emitter, the second light emitter, and the third light emitter to generate a first light pattern and a second light pattern. The first light pattern comprises a first light spectrum and the second light pattern comprises a second light spectrum including at least one more peak wavelength than the first light spectrum.

Light source including light emitters having different peak wavelengths

A light source can include at least one light emitter and is configured to emit a first light during a region of a light period and emit both the first light and a second light of a different wavelength during a remaining region of the light period. The emitter can include semiconductor layers and an active layer configured to emit light having a specific wavelength due to a band gap difference in an energy band depending on a material used to form the active layer. A plant cultivation device can include the light source and a main body in which a plant can be grown. The light period can be configured to increase a content of an active ingredient in the plant. The first light can have a longer peak wavelength than a peak wavelength of the second light.

Light source for plant cultivation

A light source module includes at least one substrate, at least one main light source and at least one auxiliary light source. The at least one main light source and the at least one auxiliary light source are disposed on the at least one substrate. The main light source comprises a first main light emitter configured to emit a first main light having a first number of peak wavelengths and a second main light emitter configured to emit a second main light having a second number of peak wavelengths. In addition, the auxiliary light source is configured to emit a third auxiliary light having a third number of peak wavelengths. The first number of peak wavelengths can be different from the second number of peak wavelengths. A peak wavelength of the second main light can be longer than all of the peak wavelengths of the first main light.

Light module for plant cultivation and plant cultivation apparatus including the same

A light source includes a controller configured to turn on or off a plurality of light sources depending on a light period. The controller can be configured to turn on the light sources during each of a plurality of light periods such that the light sources emit a light having a spectrum with a plurality of peaks toward the plant. At least one light period can include a first period and a second period and the first period preceding or following the second period. The controller can adjust the spectrum of the light between the first period and the second period and/or during different light periods.

A plant cultivation light source includes a substrate and a first group of light sources. The first group of light sources includes a plurality of light sources disposed on the substrate, and a light source including a light emitting structure including a first semiconductor layer, an active layer, and a second semiconductor layer. The plurality of light sources operates to emit lights having different wavelength bands and includes a first light source that emits first light having an area of at least about 55% compared with an area of a normalized solar spectrum, a second light source that emits second light having a wavelength for cryptochrome, and a third light source that emits third light having a wavelength for phytochrome.

A light source module for plant cultivation includes a main light source, an auxiliary light source unit, and a controller. The main light source unit emits background light which is visible light for growth of a plant. The auxiliary light source unit emits auxiliary light including UVB, UVC, or both to increase the content of phytochemicals in the plant. The controller controls operation of the main light source unit and the auxiliary light source unit based on a control signal.

A plant cultivation light module includes a first light source, a second light source, and a controller. The first light source includes a first light emitter configured to emit first light having peak wavelength in a visible range and second light emitter configured to emit second light having a longer peak wavelength to the first light. The second light source includes a plurality of third light emitters configured to emit third light having a shorter peak wavelength to the first light. The controller is configured to control the first light emitter, the second light emitter and the plurality of third light emitters and provide a first light pattern and a second light pattern. The first light source supplies light of the first light pattern and the second light source supplies light of the second pattern to the plant, respectively.

A light source module for plant cultivation includes at least one substrate, at least one growth light source and at least one auxiliary light source. The at least one growth light source and the at least one auxiliary light source are disposed on the at least one substrate. The growth light source emits growth light suitable for growing a plant. In addition, the auxiliary light source emits auxiliary light which is UV light suitable for increasing a phytochemical content of the plant. The growth light is white light. The auxiliary light source supplies the plant with the auxiliary light at a cumulative dose of 0.3 kJ/mto less than 20.2 kJ/mduring cultivation of the plant.

Disclosed herein are a plant cultivation light source and a plant cultivation apparatus. The plant cultivation light source includes a main light source and an auxiliary light source. The main light source emits light having at least two peak wavelengths. The at least two peak wavelengths fall within a wavelength region absorbed by chlorophyll.

Plant cultivation light source and plant cultivation device

A light device for plant cultivation is disclosed. The light device for plant cultivation includes a light source unit including multiple first light source modules and multiple second light source modules. The multiple first light source modules and the multiple second light source modules may emit light for plant cultivation toward a plant. The multiple first light source modules are arranged at constant intervals. The multiple second light source modules are disposed at least between a pair of first light source modules disposed at both ends of the light source unit.

Light device for plant cultivation

A plant cultivation light source includes a plurality of light sources configured to be turned on or turned off depending on a selected plant and a growth stage of the selected plant, and a controller. The controller is operable to turn on the light sources during a light period such that the light sources are operable to emit a light having a spectrum with a plurality of peaks to the selected plant. The light period including a first period and a second period and the first period preceding or following the second period. The controller is operable to adjust the spectrum of the light to alternate the first period and the second period during the light period.

A plant cultivation light source is turned on, or turned off depending on a light period and a dark period of a plant. When a portion of the light period is referred to as a first period and the other portion of the light period is referred to as a second period, the first period and the second period are alternately provided with each other, and lights having different wavelengths from each other are provided to the plant in the first and second periods, thereby increasing a content of an active ingredient in the plant.
