A touch sensing unit includes first touch electrodes, a first touch signal line, and a second touch signal line. The first touch electrodes are disposed in a touch sensor area. The first touch signal line is electrically connected to some of the first touch electrodes arranged in a first column. The second touch signal line is electrically connected to some of the first touch electrodes arranged in a second column different from the first column. The second touch signal line includes a first bent portion bent at least once in an intersection region of the first touch signal line and the second touch signal line.

Touch sensing unit and display device including the same

A sensing unit including first sensing electrodes arranged in a sensing area, second sensing electrodes electrically isolated from the first sensing electrodes, first identification patterns adjacent to the first sensing electrodes, and second identification patterns adjacent to the second sensing electrodes, in which a number of the first identification patterns is different from a number of the second identification patterns.

Sensing unit

A display device including a touch sensing unit including a first touch conductive layer, a first touch insulating layer disposed on the first touch conductive layer, and a second touch conductive layer disposed on the first touch insulating layer. The touch sensor area includes a first touch sensor area located at a center of the touch sensor area, and a second touch sensor area located between the first touch sensor area and the curved portion. The first touch conductive layer includes a touch connection electrode connecting adjacent first touch electrodes, and a plurality of capacitance (cap) compensation patterns arranged in the second touch sensor area. The plurality of cap compensation patterns includes a first cap compensation pattern electrically connected to the adjacent first touch electrode and a second cap compensation pattern electrically connected to the adjacent second touch electrode.

A touch sensor including: a substrate including a sensing area and a non-sensing area; a touch electrode disposed on the sensing area of the substrate; a pad part disposed on the non-sensing area of the substrate; a connection line electrically connecting the touch electrode and the pad part, the connection line including a first connection line and a second connection line surrounding upper and side surfaces of the first connection line; a first insulating layer disposed on the connection line, the first insulating layer exposing at least a portion of the second connection line; and a connection electrode formed on the first insulating layer to protrude to the non-sensing area from one end of the touch electrode, the connection electrode being physically connected to the exposed second connection line through the first insulating layer.

Touch sensor

Provided is a display device including a display unit including a display area, a transmitting portion surrounded by the display area, and a non-display area surrounding the display area, and a touch sensing unit having a transmissive area, dummies overlapping the transmitting portion and surrounding the transmissive area, and a touch sensor area surrounding the dummies and including first touch electrodes, and second touch electrodes respectively between the first touch electrodes, connected in a first direction, and spaced apart in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, wherein the dummies include a main dummy surrounding the transmissive area, and at least one sub-dummy surrounding the main dummy, and wherein an outermost sub-dummy of the at least one sub-dummy that is at an outermost position of the dummies includes a first cut corresponding to a gap between adjacent first and second touch electrodes among the first and second touch electrodes.

Display device

Provided is a sensing unit including first sensing electrodes arranged along a first direction in a sensing area, and second sensing electrodes arranged along a second direction intersecting the first direction. Each of the first sensing electrodes includes a plurality of first mesh lines, and each of the second sensing electrodes includes a plurality of second mesh lines. A line width of the first mesh lines is different from a line width of the second mesh lines.

A display device includes: a display panel including a base substrate having a display region and a hole region included in the display region; a touch sensor including a light blocking member disposed on the display panel, a first sensing insulating layer covering the light blocking member, a sensing electrode layer disposed on the first sensing insulating layer, and a second sensing insulating layer covering the sensing electrode layer; a polarizing layer disposed on the touch sensor; and a cover window disposed on the polarizing layer. At least one of the first sensing insulating layer and the second sensing insulating layer exposes at least a portion of the hole region.

A display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate that faces the first substrate, an active element layer disposed on a first surface of the first substrate that faces the second substrate and includes a first through-hole that penetrates therethrough in a thickness direction, and an anti-reflection member disposed on a second surface of the second substrate that faces the first substrate, overlaps the first through-hole, and is spaced apart from the first through-hole. The anti-reflection member includes a first refractive layer disposed on a second surface of the second substrate and that has a refractive index greater than a refractive index of the second substrate, and a second refractive layer disposed on the first refractive layer and that has a refractive index less than the refractive index of the first refractive layer.

Provided herein is a display device including a base layer having a non-sensing area and a sensing area configured to surround the non-sensing area, a touch sensor disposed on the sensing area of the base layer, an optical structure disposed on the base layer, and a polarization layer disposed on the touch sensor so as to overlap the sensing area. The touch sensor and the optical structure include a first through hole located in the non-sensing area, and the non-sensing area includes a first area corresponding to the first through hole and a second area configured to surround the first area. The optical structure is disposed in the second area, and includes an optical pattern including a plurality of openings.

A display device includes: a base member; first sensing electrodes disposed on the base member and electrically connected to a first sensing line, wherein the first sensing electrodes include first and second ends facing and spaced apart from each other; a second sensing electrode disposed between the first and second ends of the first sensing electrodes on a same layer as the first sensing electrodes and electrically connected to a second sensing line; and a connection electrode to electrically connect the first and second ends of the first sensing electrodes to each other without overlapping regions between each of the first and second ends of the first sensing electrodes and the second sensing electrode.

A touch sensor for a display device includes: a base layer; a first conductive layer disposed in a sensing region on the base layer; an insulating layer disposed on the first conductive layer; a second conductive layer disposed on the insulating layer in the sensing region; a first insulating pattern disposed on the second conductive layer; a plurality of signal lines provided in a non-sensing region, the plurality of signal lines being electrically connected to the first and second conductive layers; and a second insulating pattern disposed on the plurality of signal lines. The first insulating pattern and the second insulating pattern include the same material and are provided in the same layer.

Touch sensor, fabricating method thereof, and display device having the same

A touch sensor for a display device includes: a base layer; a plurality of first sensing electrodes and a plurality of second sensing electrodes spaced apart from each other on the base layer; a first connector electrically connecting the first sensing electrodes adjacent to each other; a first insulating layer disposed on the first sensing electrodes and the second sensing electrodes; a conductor disposed on the first insulating layer and connected to the second sensing electrodes through the first insulating layer; and a second insulating layer disposed on the first insulating layer to cover the conductor. The first insulating layer includes a first opening exposing at least one of a portion of a first separation area between the first connector and the second sensing electrodes, a portion of the first connector, and a portion of the second sensing electrodes, and the first opening is spaced apart from the conductor.
