Disclosed herein is a method of coating a catalyst support, in which a monolithic catalyst support provided therein with a plurality of longitudinally formed channels is quantitatively coated with catalyst slurry applied to post-treatment of exhaust gas, including the steps of: introducing catalyst slurry into a quantitative container whose bottom is vertically moved; moving a catalyst support to the top of a container such that the bottom of the catalyst support and top of the container are horizontally disposed each other; sealing the bottom of the catalyst support and the top of the container from the outside; moving the bottom of the container upward; and applying a vacuum to the channels of the catalyst support.

Apparatus and method for quantitatively coating catalyst support

The present invention provides a non-PGM catalyst for burning carbon soot without using a noble metal, the non-PGM catalyst comprising: a cerium-praseodymium complex oxide and an iron oxide, the cerium-praseodymium complex oxide impregnated with silver (Ag). The cerium-praseodymium complex oxide illustratively consists of 60 to 95 wt % of cerium oxide and 5 to 40 wt % of praseodymium oxide, and silver (Ag) impregnated in the complex oxide is 1.5 to 3.0 parts by weight of the total weight of the complex oxide. The iron oxide may be an oxide in a form of particles separate from the cerium-praseodymium complex oxide in which silver is impregnated, and may be 0.5 to 2 parts by weight of the total weight of the cerium praseodymium complex oxide.

The present invention relates to a hydrogenation catalyst for nitro-aromatic compounds, especially nitrobenzene and a method for preparing the same. Particularly, the present invention relates to a hydrogenation catalyst for nitrobenzene, which contains palladium and zinc on a carrier, and is prepared by a process comprising steps of: fixing a zinc component on a carrier; and fixing a palladium component on the carrier on which the zinc component is fixed. Further, it is applicable for a corresponding process for preparing aromatic amino compounds by way of a reaction for hydrogenating nitro-aromatic compounds, and demonstrates improved selectivity, reactivity and stability.
