Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for detecting an obstacle adaptively to vehicle speed. The apparatus includes a control unit, a speed-adaptive camera sensor, a speed-adaptive laser scanner sensor, and a detection data integration unit. The control unit receives information about the speed of a vehicle and a Pulse Per Second (PPS) signal from a Global Positioning System (GPS) module. The speed-adaptive camera sensor adjusts the range of a detection region based on the information about the speed of the vehicle, and generates first detection data on an object. The speed-adaptive laser scanner sensor adjusts the range of the angle of the field of view of a laser scanner based on the information about the speed of the vehicle, and generates second detection data on the object. The detection data integration unit outputs obstacle detection data.

Apparatus and method for detecting obstacle adaptively to vehicle speed

A transimpedance amplifier for a burst mode optical communication converts a burst current signal into differential output voltage signals. Using a multi-level digital AGC mechanism, the transimpedance amplifier is rapidly adapted to a burst signal whose amplitude varies in a wide range. By using an adaptive level detection method, a multi-level digital AGC can be implemented without using ADC. In addition, because the transimpedance amplifier uses a selective reset generation scheme that performs a reset operation for itself after a high power burst, a burst mode operation can be performed without external reset signals. Accordingly, the transimpedance amplifier can be integrated with an optical detector within a TO-can. Furthermore, the transimpedance amplifier can have the burst mode capability and the best sensitivity.

Digital automatic gain control apparatus and method in burst mode optical receiver

An apparatus for providing vehicle accident information periodically collects vehicle travel information, and stores vehicle travel information that is collected during an accident of a vehicle, in a vehicle black box. The apparatus for providing vehicle accident information collects information about other vehicles through communication with the other vehicles during the accident of the vehicle, and stores the collected information in the vehicle black box. Since the information about the other vehicles is collected through communication with the other vehicles as described above, it is possible to provide more accurate and efficient information required for dealing with the accident. In addition, vehicle accident information, which includes time when an accident occurs, location where an accident occurs, and the type of accident, is transmitted to a related agency such as a police station and a traffic center, so that it is possible to quickly deal with the accident.

Method for providing vehicle accident information and apparatus therefor

A method for transmitting a signal according to the present invention comprises spreading a control channel data through a PN code and generating a diffused control channel data; time division multiplexing the diffused control channel data and a service channel data and generating a multiplexed signal; and inverse Fourier transforming the multiplexed signal and generating an inverse Fourier transformed signal. Accordingly, in multi-hop communication, frequency efficiency is improved by not using different RF frequencies between a control channel and service channel, and applying a control channel and service channel through the TDM (Time Division Multiplexing) method, and the channel efficiency is improved by WAVE channel switching.
