A method of operating a terminal that is related to achieving synchronization in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes receiving signals with a bandwidth comprising a plurality of channels, selecting at least one channel group to attempt to detect based on radio frequency level per a reception signal, wherein the channel group denotes a set of channels that belongs to one bandwidth, and performing a synchronization procedure on each of channels that belong to the at least one channel group selected.

Apparatus and method for achieving synchronization in wireless communication system

A transmitter for Electric Field Communication (EFC) is provided. The transmitter includes a preamble code generator, a preamble symbol generator, and a transmission electrode. The preamble code generator masks each of at least two repetitive preamble codes so that information indicating broadcast information is included in the at least two repetitive preamble codes. The preamble symbol generator multiplies a spreading code to spread the masked at least two repetitive preamble codes and generate preamble symbols. The transmission electrode transmits the preamble symbols. Since additional information transferred based on the size of a correlation value of a preamble symbol is used, a broadcast frame can be retrieved even when all packets inside a superframe are not demodulated.

The present invention proposes a method for transmitting data considering a non-contact state of a human body, while selecting a central frequency in various ranges in the human body communication system. To this end, a first embodiment of the present invention proposes a human body communication system in which a central frequency can be simply moved, and specifically, proposes a data transmission apparatus comprising a frequency shifter which shifts the output of a multiplexer into a specified frequency so as to enable the central frequency to be moved. In addition, a second embodiment of the present invention proposes a human body communication system which controls not only central frequency selection and transmission band minimization, but also a data rate, modulation, etc, and thus can perform stable communication in a non-contact state of a human body. In the apparatus and method, a measurer divides possible output bit values into at least three sections, and measures output frequencies of output bits for the respective sections for a predetermined time.
