A ball retainer for a slide apparatus and a mold for manufacturing the same. The ball retainer includes, in a width direction, a first extension part and a second extension part that are extended from a center line, forming a pre-determined angle with each other, in a length direction, a body part formed in the center, and a pair of holding parts. Each holding part is respectively formed at each end of the body part. Each holding part includes a plurality of ball insertion grooves for inserting balls that are spaced apart in the length direction. Expansion parts each having an expanding cross-sectional area are respectively formed at both sides in the length direction of the first extension part and the second extension part.

Provided is a rail having a simple structure and capable of stably supporting a load caused by a drawer and accommodated matters. The rail has a structure having a resistance against a torsional load that twists the rail in a central direction of the drawer and configured to prevent interference between components of the rail even when the torsional load occurs.

Automatic closing apparatus

Disclosed herein is an automatic closing apparatus for a sliding apparatus. The sliding apparatus comprises a fixed rail, a movable rail, and the automatic closing apparatus. The automatic closing apparatus includes a body, a slider, a housing, a damping unit, and an elastic body. The body is provided on the fixed rail and has an actuating space therein. The body includes: a guide wall that is provided in the actuating space and includes a curved guide part and a linear guide part; and a receiving space formed adjacent to the curved guide part. The slider is locked to or unlocked from a locking member of the movable rail and slides in an open or close direction under guide of the guide wall. The housing is coupled to the body. The damping unit is installed in the housing. The elastic body is fastened to the housing and the slider.

A movable rail body is fastened to a movable body and has a first space. Movable rail bearings are disposed in the first space at diagonally facing corners of the movable rail body. A stationary rail body is fastened to a stationary support and has a second space. Stationary rail bearings are disposed in the second space at diagonally facing corners of the stationary rail body. A slider has an upper end in rolling contact with the movable rail bearings, and a lower end in rolling contact with the stationary rail bearings. An angle between a center line parallel to the movable body and a connection line connecting centers of the movable rail bearings ranges from 40 degrees to 50 degrees. An angle between the center line and a connection line connecting centers of the stationary rail bearings ranges from 130 degrees to 140 degrees.

Sliding device

The present invention relates to a bottom-mounted slide. The bottom-mounted slide includes a movable member, stationary members and a ball housings. First raceways are formed in both lateral sides of the movable member. Each stationary member has second raceways which are respectively connected to the first raceways by corresponding balls to guide the movable member. The balls roll along the corresponding first and second raceways. The ball housings are provided between the movable member and each of the stationary members. The ball housings support the balls. A depressed part is provided in a predetermined portion of each of the lateral sides of the movable member between the corresponding first raceways. The depressed part is inserted into a hollow space defined inside the first raceways of the corresponding end of the movable member. Therefore, the stability can be increased by improvement of roll-forming and reduction of horizontal moment.

Bottom-mounted slide and manufacturing method thereof

A sliding apparatus with a self-closing unit. The apparatus includes a rail bracket provided on each of opposite sides of a main body to face a movable rail, having a cover space spaced apart from the main body, and supporting a fixed rail in a direction towards the movable rail. A self-closing unit is provided at a predetermined position on the fixed rail and secured to the rail bracket. A cover protrudes from each of the opposite sides of the storage part to surround the sliding apparatus and the self-closing unit, and moves along with the storage part to be inserted into the cover space when the storage part is closed. A drive part is provided at a predetermined position on the cover, protrudes towards the self-closing unit, and moves along with the storage part to be latched by the self-closing unit.

Sliding apparatus with self-closing means

A undermount-type sliding apparatus having an automatic closing device includes a movable rail provided under a receptacle and a fixed rail slidably coupled to the movable rail. A housing body is disposed on the fixed rail. A guide wall includes a curved guide portion, which has a curved shape and is spaced apart from one end of a housing space. A linear guide portion is connected to the curved guide portion. A rotary stopper is inserted into and guided by the guide wall while being caught by and released from the movable rail. An elastic member is disposed in the housing body, and is elastically coupled to the rotary stopper. In a closing operation, the rotary stopper catches the movable rail, and is thus automatically closed by elasticity. When positioned in the opening direction, the movable rail is released from the rotary stopper to enable an opening operation.
