A display panel assembly and an electronic device including the assembly are disclosed. In one aspect, the assembly includes a window cover including a display area and a non-display area and a display panel disposed on a location of a rear surface of the window cover corresponding to the display area. The assembly further includes a dielectric mirror layer disposed on a location of the rear surface of the window cover corresponding to the non-display area which selectively reflects light incident through the window cover to provide a metallic color sense to a user and a light absorbing layer absorbing light transmitted through the dielectric mirror layer.

Electronic device having organic light emitting diode display

A display device is disclosed. In one embodiment, the device includes a display panel displaying an image and an integrated receiving member supporting the display panel. The integrated receiving member includes a press molding portion including a bottom portion and a side wall portion bent and extended from the bottom portion and having a through-hole formed therein and an injection molding portion including a frame portion integrally attached to at least one side of the press molding portion, facing the display panel and a flange portion extended from the frame portion and protruding through the through-hole. The flange portion of the injection molding portion is wholly or partially separated from the side wall portion of the press molding portion within the through-hole.

Display device

A display device that includes a display panel and a container member that accommodates the display panel, where the container member can effectively absorb an external impact to sufficiently protect the display panel from damage and minimize deformation caused by an external stress, a method of manufacturing the same. The container member includes a metal frame including a space that accommodates the display panel, a plurality of sides and a bottom having a first opening; and a mold frame arranged between the sides of the metal frame and sides of the display panel. The display device may also include a buffer tape within the first opening. The mold frame is preferably produced by an injection molding technique.
