A light emitting element includes a core structure, which includes a first light emitting element core, a second light emitting element core spaced apart from the first light emitting element core, and a first bonding layer between the first light emitting element core and the second light emitting element core, each of the first light emitting element core and the second light emitting element core includes a first semiconductor layer, a second semiconductor layer spaced apart from the first semiconductor layer, and an element active layer between the first semiconductor layer and the second semiconductor layer, and a stacking direction of the first semiconductor layer, the element active layer, and the second semiconductor layer of the first light emitting element core is opposite to a stacking direction of the first semiconductor layer, the element active layer and the second semiconductor layer of the second light emitting element core.

Light emitting element and display device including the same

A display device is provided. The display device comprises: a first electrode and a second electrode spaced apart from and arranged to face the first electrode; a first insulating layer arranged to cover at least a partial region of the first and second electrodes; a shielding electrode layer which is arranged on the first insulating layer and which does not overlap at least a portion of the first and second electrodes; and at least one light-emitting element arranged between the first and second electrodes so as to be spaced apart from the shielding electrode layer, wherein the at least one light-emitting element can be arranged in a region in which the shielding electrode layer does not overlap the first and second electrodes.

The display device includes a first alignment electrode and a second alignment electrode spaced apart from each other, a light emitting element between the first alignment electrode and the second alignment electrode, a first auxiliary electrode at a first side of the light emitting element in a plan view, and separated from the first alignment electrode, and a second auxiliary electrode at a second side of the light emitting element in a plan view, and separated from the second alignment electrode, wherein an alignment signal is configured to be applied to the first alignment electrode, and wherein a first auxiliary signal of a phase that is different from a phase of the alignment signal is configured to be applied to the first auxiliary electrode.

Pixel, display apparatus comprising same, and manufacturing method therefor

A display device includes subpixels arranged in a first direction and a second direction, where each of the subpixels includes an emission area and a sub area arranged in the first direction therein, electrodes extending in the first direction across the emission area and the sub area, where the electrodes includes a first electrode, a second electrode spaced apart from the first electrode in the second direction, a third electrode disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and a fourth electrode spaced apart from the third electrode in the second direction with the first electrode interposed therebetween, first light emitting elements disposed on the first electrode and the fourth electrode, and second light emitting elements disposed on the second electrode and the third electrode. A length of the third electrode in the first direction is smaller than a length of the first electrode in the first direction.

A light emitting device may include: a substrate including a plurality of unit light emitting regions; and first to fourth insulating layers sequentially on the substrate. Each of the unit light emitting regions may include: at least one light emitting element on the first insulating layer, the at least one light emitting element having a first end portion and a second end portion in a length direction thereof; first and second partition walls on the substrate, and the first and second partition walls being spaced apart from each other; a first reflective electrode on the first partition wall and a second reflective electrode on the second partition wall; a first contact electrode on the first reflective electrode, the first contact electrode connecting the first reflective electrode and the first end portion of the light emitting element; a second contact electrode on the second reflective electrode, the second contact electrode connecting the second reflective electrode and the second end portion of the light emitting element; and a conductive pattern provided between the first insulating layer and the first contact electrode, the conductive pattern surrounding the first and second reflective electrodes when viewed on a plane.

Light-emitting device, display device having same, and method for manufacturing same

A display device includes a substrate including a plurality of pixel areas; and a pixel provided in each of the pixel areas. The pixel may include a first electrode and a second electrode extending in a first direction on the substrate and spaced from each other in a second direction different from the first direction; a bank pattern between the substrate and the first electrode and between the substrate and the second electrode, and including at least two sub-bank patterns in a same column and spaced from each other; and a plurality of light emitting elements between the first and second electrodes.
