A display device includes a display panel including a first non-bending area, a bending area, and a second non-bending area, which are sequentially arranged in a first direction, and an input sensor including sensing electrodes and first and second trace lines. The first trace line includes a first line portion, a second line portion, and a first bridge connecting the first and second line portions and disposed on a layer different from the first and second line portions. The second trace line includes a third line portion, a fourth line portion disposed on a layer different from the third line portion, and a second bridge connecting the third and fourth line portions and disposed on a layer different from the third and fourth line portions. The first bridge and the second bridge do not overlap each other in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.

Display device

A display device includes a display panel which includes a display area and a non-display area, a plurality of pixels in the display area, and a gate driver connected to at least two of the pixels through a gate line, wherein the gate driver includes a plurality of stages connected to each other and drives the at least two pixels, where each of the plurality of stages includes a first portion of a stage disposed in the non-display area and a second portion of the stage disposed in the display area and connected to the first portion, and the second portion of the stage includes a pull down transistor configured to output a low potential to the gate line.

An array substrate includes a base substrate, a plurality of storage voltage lines, a plurality of connecting lines, and a common voltage applying section. Pixels are formed in regions defined by a plurality of gate lines extending along a first direction and data lines extending along a second direction. The connecting lines are connected to the storage voltage lines that are formed on adjacent pixels of pixels arranged in the second direction. The common voltage applying section applies a common voltage to the storage voltage lines that are formed in a portion of the pixels arranged in the first direction. Thus, a substantially uniform current may be applied to the display area to decrease the distortion of the common voltage, thereby increasing a liquid crystal display device's display quality.

A gate driving circuit includes N stages (where N is a natural number greater than or equal to 2). The N stages are cascaded, and each of the N stages has a gate line connected thereto. A first stage group includes k stages of the N stages (where k is a natural number less than N), and the first stage group outputs a first output signal in response to a start signal. A second stage group (including N&#x2212;k stages) generates a second output signal in response to the first output signal and outputs the second output signal to a corresponding gate line. The first stage group includes a first buffer and a second buffer, each of which receives the start signal. A size of the first buffer is smaller than a size of the second buffer.

Gate driving circuit and display apparatus including the same

A thin film transistor display panel capable of minimizing a bezel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The thin film transistor display panel includes: a substrate; a plurality of gate lines and data lines that cross each other on the substrate; a thin film transistor connected to the gate line and the data line; a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor; and a plurality of gate voltage supply lines arranged in a parallel direction with the data lines and connected to the plurality of gate lines, respectively, in which one pixel area is defined by two adjacent gate lines and two adjacent data lines, two pixel electrodes are formed in one pixel area, and the gate voltage supply lines pass between the two pixel electrodes formed in the same pixel area.

Thin film transistor display panel and manufacturing method thereof

A liquid crystal display includes: a first gate line; a first data line crossing the first gate line; a first switching element connected with the first gate line and the first data line; a second switching element connected with the first gate line and the first data line; a first liquid crystal capacitor connected with the first switching element; a second liquid crystal capacitor connected with the second switching element; a boost switching element which is turned on during a time period not overlapping a time period during which the first switching element is turned on; and a boost capacitor including a first terminal connected with the boost switching element and a second terminal connected with the first liquid crystal capacitor.

Liquid crystal display and driving method thereof

An array substrate includes a base substrate and a contact part. The contact part is disposed on the base substrate. The contact part includes a first metal pattern, a disconnection control pattern and a connecting pattern. The second metal pattern is disposed on a layer different from the first metal pattern, the disconnection control pattern overlaps a side surface of the second metal pattern and a connecting pattern is formed on the first and second metal patterns and the disconnection control pattern and connects the first metal pattern with the second metal pattern.

Array substrate and method of manufacturing the same

A thin film transistor substrate including a thin film transistor having a drain electrode with an electrode portion, which overlaps with a semiconductor layer, and an extended portion, which extends from the electrode portion and has a portion overlapping with a storage electrode or storage electrode line. A passivation layer is arranged on the drain electrode, and it has a contact hole that partially exposes the extended portion of the drain electrode without exposing a step in the extended portion caused by the storage electrode or storage electrode line. A pixel electrode is arranged on the passivation layer and is electrically connected with the extended portion of the drain electrode through the contact hole.
