An electroluminescent display device includes a substrate on which a display area and a non-display area are defined; first, second and third sub-pixel rows in the display area each including a plurality of sub-pixels arranged along a first direction and disposed along a second direction; a light-emitting diode disposed at each of the plurality of sub-pixels and including a first electrode, a light-emitting layer and a second electrode; a dummy sub-pixel in the non-display area and corresponding to the second sub-pixel row; and a partition wall across the third sub-pixel row along the first direction and disposed on the first electrodes of the third sub-pixel row, wherein a width of the second sub-pixel row along the second direction is larger than a width of the first sub-pixel row and smaller than a width of the third sub-pixel row.

Electroluminescent display device

An electroluminescent display device includes a substrate having an emission area and a transparent portion, the emission area including a sub-pixel, and the transparent portion being adjacent to the sub-pixel; a first electrode in the emission area and over the substrate; a transparent connection pattern in the transparent portion and over the substrate, the transparent connection pattern being spaced apart from the first electrode; a first bank covering an edge of the first electrode and exposing the transparent connection pattern in the transparent portion; and a second bank on the first bank and covering the transparent connection pattern in the transparent portion, wherein the second bank includes a transparent conductive material.

An electroluminescent display device includes a substrate including a first pixel column and a second pixel column that respectively include first pixels and second pixels arranged in a first direction and respectively have a first width and a second width in a second direction, wherein the second pixel column is positioned in the second direction from the first pixel column, and the second width is greater than the first width; a light emitting diode in each first pixel and each second pixel and including a first electrode, a light emitting layer and a second electrode; a first bank positioned between adjacent first pixels and between adjacent second pixels and covering an edge of the first electrode; a second bank positioned between the first and second pixel columns; and a first partition wall across the second pixel column along the first direction and positioned on the first electrode.

The present disclosure relates to an organic light emitting display device. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, an organic light emitting display device includes a plurality of sub-pixels including a first sub-pixel, a second sub-pixel and a third sub-pixel, a first electrode, a horizontal bank including a first horizontal bank and a second horizontal bank that are alternately arranged in a first direction to cover edges of the first electrodes, a vertical bank including a first vertical bank, a second vertical bank, and a third vertical bank that are alternately arranged in a second direction to cover edges of the first electrode and disposed on the horizontal bank, an organic light emitting layer and a second electrode. Wherein an area wider than the first sub-pixel is formed on the first horizontal bank or the second horizontal bank adjacent to the first sub-pixel, and ink is injected on the area, whereby color mixing of the ink can be minimized. And, a high-resolution organic light emitting display device can be implemented, simultaneously with improving display quality of the organic light emitting display device.

Organic light emitting diode display device with non-straight vertical banks

An organic light emitting display device and a method of fabricating thereof are discussed. The organic light emitting display device according to an example includes a plurality of first bank layers arranged along a first direction and a second direction on a substrate to define a plurality of pixels; a plurality of second bank layers disposed along the first direction on the first bank layers to divide the columns of pixels having different colors; an organic light emitting layer in each pixel; at least one first pocket pixel unit at both sides of the pixel having the smallest area; and a first dummy organic light emitting layer in the first pocket pixel unit.

Organic light emitting display device and method of fabricating thereof

An electroluminescent display device comprises a substrate; a plurality of sub-pixels arranged on the substrate, including sub-pixels with different colors arranged along a first direction and sub-pixels with a same color arranged along a second direction; a light-emitting diode disposed at each sub-pixel and including a first electrode, a light-emitting layer and a second electrode; a bank having an opening corresponding to a sub-pixel row along the second direction and disposed between two adjacent sub-pixels along the first direction; and a control pattern between two adjacent sub-pixels along the second direction, wherein the control pattern includes a first control pattern corresponding to a center portion of the sub-pixel row and a second control pattern spaced apart from the first control pattern along the second direction, and where a first end of each of the first and second control patterns is spaced apart from the bank and has an first surface parallel to or inclined with respect to the second direction, and a slope of the first surface of the second control pattern is larger than a slope of the first surface of the first control pattern.

Disclosed is an electroluminescence display apparatus. The electroluminescence display apparatus includes a substrate, a bank provided to define a plurality of emission areas on the substrate, and a first light emitting layer provided in a first emission area of the plurality of emission areas, and a second light emitting layer provided in a second emission area of the plurality of emission areas. An anti-spread part is provided on an upper surface of the bank disposed between the first light emitting layer and the second light emitting layer.

Electroluminescence display apparatus

An electroluminescent display device includes a first electrode; a hole auxiliary layer on the first electrode; a light emitting material layer on the hole auxiliary layer; and a second electrode on the light emitting material layer, wherein the second electrode includes a first metal and further includes a second metal or metal compound having a refractive index of 1.3 or more as a dopant.
