Disclosed is a clamping member and a battery module using the same. The clamping member includes a pair of pressing units configured to respectively press an upper plate and a lower plate of a battery assembly in which a plurality of batteries is stacked, so that a stacking structure of the battery assembly is fixed, and a support unit configured to support the pair of pressing units so that the upper plate and the lower plate of the battery assembly are pressed by the pair of pressing units, wherein at least one of the pair of pressing units includes a snap-fitting portion coupled to the upper plate or the lower plate by means of snap-fitting, and a screwing portion coupled to the upper plate or the lower plate coupled to the snap-fitting portion, by means of screwing, thereby fixing the battery stacking structure with excellent space efficiency, ensuring easy assembling of the battery module and improving durability of the battery module.

Clamping member and battery module using the same

Disclosed are a clamping device and a battery module comprising the same, the clamping device being suitable for reducing the number of screw coupling portions of long bolts at a lower plate, a battery stack, and an upper plate, and for securing, in a balanced manner, the battery stack, the lower plate and the upper plate by means of the long bolts. The clamping device according to the present invention comprises: a support; and pressing parts respectively protruded from one end and the other end of the support, wherein the support and the pressing parts define a bent part along the central portion of the outer circumference while forming a band shape, and the pressing parts include locking holes which intersect with the bent portion.

Disclosed is a heat sink having improved space utilization and a battery module including the same. The heat sink for cooling a cell assembly including at least one unit cell comprises a first heat sink coupled to one side of the cell assembly and having a first cooling channel through which a coolant passes, and a second heat sink coupled to the other side of the cell assembly and having a second cooling channel through which the coolant passes. Since heat sinks are coupled to both sides of a cell assembly, a Z-axial space of a battery pack may be ensured without increasing the height of the battery pack.
