A battery module provides improved stability against fire or explosion. A battery pack and a vehicle may include such battery module. The battery module includes a plurality of battery cells, each having electrode terminals respectively provided at an upper portion and a lower portion thereof; a connection plate for the plurality of battery cells, the connection plate including a connection portion extending from a body portion to contact the electrode terminal; and a module case configured such that the connection plate is mounted to an outer side thereof, the module case being configured to accommodate the plurality of battery cells therein, the module case including a plurality of exposure holes configured to expose the electrode terminals of each of the plurality of battery cells to the outside and a cover portion configured to protrude toward the connection plate from an outer circumference of the exposure hole.

A battery module includes: a plurality of cylindrical battery cells including a gas vent portion to discharge an internal gas; and a busbar plate including a plurality of connection terminals that protrude and extend from an inner edge of a connection opening, and to electrically connect the cylindrical battery cells by contacting a positive or negative electrode terminal, and have different shapes depending on the contacted positive or negative electrode terminal, and a connection terminal contacting a positive or negative electrode terminal not having the gas vent portion. The connection terminal includes: a fuse portion to be disconnected when a current of a predetermined level or higher flows from the cylindrical battery cells and having a bent structure bent; and a protection tube to contract at a predetermined temperature with electric insulation and to surround at least a portion of an outer surface of the fuse portion.

Disclosed is a battery module and a battery pack with improved durability. The battery module includes a plurality of cylindrical battery cells each respectively having electrode terminals; a module case having an accommodation portion in which the plurality of cylindrical battery cells are accommodated; a bus bar including a plate-shaped and electrically conductive body portion, and a connection portion configured to contact the electrode terminals to electrically connect the plurality of cylindrical battery cells to each other; an electrically insulating insulation sheet covering an outer side of the bus bar, the insulation sheet having an exposure hole through which at least a part of the bus bar is exposed to an outside; and an electrically insulating adhesive on the at least a part of the bus bar exposed to the outside through the exposure hole of the insulation sheet.

Disclosed is a battery pack having improved waterproofing performance. The battery pack includes a plurality of secondary batteries; a connector including a connection terminal configured to receive electricity from an external device or to supply power to an outside of the battery pack, and an electrically insulating body surrounding a portion of the connection terminal; a pack housing having an inner space in which the plurality of secondary batteries are accommodated and having an insert hole so that at least a part of the body of the connector is inserted therein; and a connector gasket interposed between the insert hole and the connector and having a portion that is bent at least once in one direction, the connector gasket being at least partially compressed and fixed by inserting the connector into the insert hole.
