A display panel driving apparatus includes a grayscale voltage outputting part which generates a first positive polarity grayscale voltage and a first polarity negative grayscale voltage, compares the first positive polarity with a first reference voltage to output a first comparison voltage, compares the first negative polarity grayscale voltage with a second reference voltage to output a second comparison voltage, compares the first comparison voltage with the second comparison voltage to output a voltage deviation value, and outputs a second positive polarity grayscale voltage and a second negative polarity grayscale voltage based on the voltage deviation value, and a data driving part which outputs a data signal based on image data to a data line of a display panel, using the second positive polarity grayscale voltage and the second negative polarity grayscale voltage.

A common voltage distortion detecting circuit includes a current sensor, a voltage difference voltage detecting circuit and a comparator. The current sensor is disposed between a circuit configured to apply a common voltage to a liquid crystal display panel and an input power terminal providing a power voltage. The voltage difference detecting circuit is configured to detect a difference voltage between two terminals of the current sensor. The comparator is configured to compare the difference voltage and a reference voltage to output an over current signal to convert an inversion method of the liquid crystal display panel when the difference voltage is greater than the reference voltage.

A voltage generating circuit includes a voltage dividing part connected between a main voltage source and a ground configured to divide a main voltage into a plurality of driving voltages and output the plurality of driving voltages, a delay part connected between a driving voltage source and the ground, and configured to delay a driving voltage by a predetermined period and apply the driving voltage to an input terminal of a driver circuit, and a discharge part connected between the voltage dividing part and the delay part, and configured to discharge a voltage charged in the delay part to a ground when the driving voltage is blocked. The discharge part comprises an amplifier, an inverting input of the amplifier being connected to the driving voltage source and a non-inverting input of the amplifier being connected to an output terminal of the delay part.
