The present disclosure provides a stretchable display device. The stretchable display device including a plurality of first substrates which is disposed on a lower substrate to be spaced apart from each other and includes at least one pixel. The display device includes a plurality of connection substrates which connects adjacent first substrates among the plurality of first substrates. The display device includes a plurality of connection lines which electrically connects pads disposed on the plurality of adjacent first substrates and is disposed on side surfaces of the plurality of connection substrates. Therefore, a resistance of the connection line may be reduced or minimized.

Stretchable display device

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the display device includes: a stretchable lower substrate and a plurality of first substrates disposed on the lower substrate. The display device also includes a plurality of second substrates coupling first substrates adjacent to each other among the plurality of first substrates. The display device further includes a plurality of pixels disposed on the plurality of first substrates. The display device also includes a plurality of connection lines disposed on the plurality of second substrates and coupling the plurality of pixels. The display device further includes a protection layer disposed on each of the plurality of pixels.

Display device

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the display device includes a lower substrate and a plurality of pixel substrates disposed on the lower substrate. The display device also includes a plurality of transistors disposed on the plurality of pixel substrates and a planarization layer disposed on the plurality of pixel substrates to cover upper portions of the plurality of transistors. The display device further includes a plurality of individual connection pads and a common connection pad disposed on the planarization layer. The display device also includes a plurality of light emitting diodes disposed on the plurality of individual connection pads and the common connection pad. At least one of the plurality of individual connection pads and the common connection pad may have a multilayer structure.

The present disclosure discloses a stretchable display device, including a lower substrate as a first substrate, the lower substrate having an active area and a non-active area surrounding the active area; a plurality of second substrates positioned on the lower substrate and horizontally separated from each other; a transistor disposed on the second substrate; a plurality of light emitting elements disposed above the transistor and above the plurality of second substrates; a plurality of connecting substrate positioned between the plurality of second substrates to interconnect two adjacent second substrates. With this structure of the display, especially to the structure of the connecting substrate and the connection line, the stress applied to the stretchable display the connecting lines may be attenuated.

A stretchable display device comprises a lower substrate, a plurality of island substrates disposed on the lower substrate and spaced apart from each other, a plurality of display elements disposed on the plurality of island substrates, a plurality of connecting lines disposed between each of the plurality of island substrates, an upper substrate disposed on the lower substrate, the plurality of display elements and the plurality of connecting lines, and a polarizing layer disposed on the upper substrate and including a phase delay layer on the upper substrate and a linear polarizing plate on the phase delay layer, wherein the phase delay layer includes a first base polymer, wherein the linear polarizing plate includes a second base polymer, and wherein the first and second base polymers include a same material as the upper substrate.

A stretchable display device according to embodiments of the present disclosure includes a plurality of first substrates in which a plurality of pixels are defined, the plurality of first substrates being spaced apart from each other; a plurality of second substrates disposed between first substrates adjacent to each other among the plurality of first substrates to connect the adjacent first substrates; a lower substrate on which a plurality of first areas, a plurality of second areas, and a plurality of third areas excluding the plurality of first areas and the plurality of second areas are defined, the plurality of first substrates being disposed in the plurality of first areas, and the plurality of second substrates being disposed in the plurality of second areas; and a plurality of align keys disposed in a portion of the plurality of third areas and formed of an elastic material.

A stretchable display device comprises a lower substrate; a plurality of island substrates spaced apart from each other and disposed on the lower substrate; a plurality of pixels defined on the plurality of island substrates; a plurality of base polymers disposed between adjacent island substrates of the plurality of island substrates; and a plurality of conductive particles distributed in the base polymer and electrically connecting a plurality of pads disposed on the adjacent island substrates.

A stretchable display devices includes a flexible substrate. A plurality of first substrates and a plurality of second substrates are disposed on the substrate. The plurality of first substrates are spaced from each other and the plurality of second substrates, and the plurality of second substrates are spaced from each other. A plurality of connection supports are coupled to the plurality of first and second substrates. Connection lines extend on the plurality of connection supports to form an electrical connection between the plurality of first substrates and the plurality of second substrates. A distance between one of the plurality of second substrates and a corresponding outer one of the plurality of first substrates is greater than a distance between the plurality of first substrates to reduce stress on the plurality of second substrates during bending or stretching of the display device.

Therefore, various connection lines are configured in a limited space to improve an image quality of a stretchable display device.

Disclosed is a display apparatus including a transistor substrate including an emission part overlapping a plurality of organic light emitting devices and a peripheral part surrounding the emission part, a plurality of color filters disposed to respectively correspond to the plurality of organic light emitting devices at the emission part, and a plurality of spacer members spaced apart from one another and disposed to surround the plurality of organic light emitting devices at the peripheral part. Accordingly, the display apparatus is protected from an external impact, and heat transferred to the inside of the display apparatus is easily dissipated to the outside.

A stretchable display device comprises a lower substrate; a plurality of island substrates where a plurality of pixels is defined, spaced apart from each other and disposed on the lower substrate and; a plurality of connecting lines electrically connected to a plurality of pads disposed on adjacent island substrates among the plurality of island substrates, wherein the plurality of connecting lines has a curved shape; and a plurality of conductive reinforcing members in contact with a portion of each connecting line.

A stretchable display device includes a structure that can minimize damage to a polarizing layer when the stretchable display device is stretched and reduce visibility of external light being reflected to a user by using a polarizing plate having a stretchable characteristic, and the thickness of the stretchable display can be reduced because components disposed under the upper substrate and the polarizing layer are configured to include the same material as the polarizing layer that can be easily stretched in a plurality of directions by alternately disposing stretchable polarizing layers in different directions.

A display apparatus includes a buffer layer provided on a substrate and having a plurality of concave portions and a black matrix disposed at each of the plurality of concave portions, whereby loss of the black matrix may be prevented and a filling material may be uniformly filled when a transistor substrate and a color filter substrate are bonded.
