A calibration system for stereo cameras includes a rig control module configured to, when a camera calibration parameter is input, control an auto rig according to the camera calibration parameter to perform physical calibration for a camera, a stereo image calibration apparatus configured to calibrate a stereo image to acquire the camera calibration parameter, and output the acquired camera calibration parameter, and a camera control module configured to output the camera calibration parameter, which is input from the stereo image calibration apparatus, to the rig control module, or screen-output the camera calibration parameter. Therefore, physical calibration and image processing calibration for a camera are performed in association with each other.

The present invention relates to an intermediate image synthesizing method using a mesh based on a multi-view square camera structure. In accordance with the present invention, an accurate disparity vector may be obtained since a shared area is searched for a predetermined time interval using a distance matching and a synthesized image is generated for each area based thereon, an occlusion region is reduced by using three reference images, the synthesized image may be easily generated even for an image having a large disparity, and a converted outline may be accurately expressed, and a high three-dimensional effect may be represented due to the image conversion through the mesh based on a vertex of the outline.

An effective H.264/AVC CAVLC decoding method is disclosed. In accordance with the method a VLC code is classified into groups according to a correlation thereof, an arithmetic equation is defined for each of the groups, and a decoding is carried out according to the arithmetic equation in order to minimize a memory access by a table look-up and reduce a decoding time and a power consumption.
