There is provided a cabling apparatus comprising, a cable connecting a first unit and a second unit which turns around a turning axial line of a hinge portion with respect to the first unit via the hinge portion, a cable guide portion, which guides the cable, in which the cable guide portion is turnably attached to the second unit on one end side of the cable guide portion and is connected to the first unit on the other end side of the cable guide portion, wherein a turning axial line of the guide portion with respect to the second unit and a turning axial line of the hinge portion accord with each other.

Cabling apparatus, image reading apparatus, and image forming apparatus

An image reading apparatus accurately determines the positions of image forming mirrors formed with an off-axis reflecting surface, while enabling any thermal expansion caused by a rise in temperature due to a rise in the surrounding temperature to be absorbed. Each image forming mirror formed with an off-axis reflecting surface comprises respective and independent units for determining the positions in the longitudinal direction, in the lateral position, and in the direction orthogonal to the reflecting surface. Holes with which the longitudinal position determining units and the lateral position determining units engage have gaps in the directions orthogonal to the position determining directions to absorb the thermal expansion caused by a rise in the temperature of the image forming mirror when the position determining units engage with the holes. Determination of the position of the reflecting surfaces of the image forming mirrors is carried out by urging faces provided on the reflecting surface side against the housing.

An image-forming apparatus includes an image-carrying belt that is rotated while carrying toner images on an outer circumferential surface thereof; a movable tensioner applying tension to the image-carrying belt, a position of the tensioner being changed while being in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the image-carrying belt, the tensioner being electrically grounded or a voltage being applied to the tensioner; and an electrode member, a position of the electrode member being changed in conjunction with a change of the position of the tensioner so as to maintain a predetermined distance from the image-carrying belt, the electrode member being electrically grounded or a voltage being applied to the electrode member.

An object of this invention is to provide a sheet processing apparatus capable of cutting a sheet and recording information on the back surface of the sheet without enlarging the size of the apparatus and dropping productivity. The sheet processing apparatus which executes a predetermined processing on a sheet in which an image is recorded includes: a cutter for cutting a sheet; and a print unit for recording an information about recording to the front surface the sheet on the back surface of the sheet, wherein an action of cutting the sheet with the cutter and an action of recording on the back surface of the sheet with the print unit are executed in parallel.

Sheet processing apparatus and image forming apparatus

A document reading apparatus includes a feeding roller for feeding a document, a reading unit for reading images of the document fed by the feeding roller and a substantially U-shaped document transfer path for guiding the document fed the feeding roller. The substantially U-shaped document transfer path is constituted by an internal guide and an external guide. The external guide is separated from the internal guide by rotating the external guide. The internal guide is rotatably disposed and supports the reading means. A reading transfer path in which the reading unit is arranged is opened by rotating the internal guide.

Image reading apparatus with rotatable internal and external guides

An image reader adopting an off-axial optical system, an adjustable imaging mirror and a CCD fixed to a highly rigid structure. Since the relative position between reflecting and imaging mirrors can be set highly accurately, adjusting only the CCD-mounting position allows a required specification of the read image to be met. The imaging mirror can easily be adjusted without distorting the reflecting surface. The reflecting and imaging mirrors, and the CCD-mounting-position adjuster are positioned directly to reflecting-mirror supporting sections, imaging-mirror supporting sections, and CCD supporting sections, which are integrated with a carriage casing, and fixed to them. The CCD is fixed to the carriage casing with the CCD-mounting-position adjuster. An imaging mirror close to a diaphragm and adjacent to the image is supported by a mirror adjusting plate, which can be displaced to adjust the position of the imaging mirror.
