A cooling control system includes: a fuel cell stack formed with a cooling flow path in which hydrogen and oxygen are received and reacted, respectively, and coolant flows between separators; a coolant circulation line connected with the cooling flow path of the fuel cell stack, and having the coolant flowing therein; a cooling pump connected to the coolant circulation line to circulate the coolant to cool the fuel cell stack; a heat generation amount estimator for estimating the heat generation amount of the fuel cell stack; a coolant estimator for estimating an amount of the coolant to cool the fuel cell stack based on the heat generation amount of the fuel cell stack; and a driving controller for controlling the operation of the cooling pump based on the estimated amount of the coolant.

Cooling control system and control method of fuel cell

An apparatus and method for controlling a purge valve of a fuel cell vehicle are provided to reduce a consumption amount of hydrogen and improve fuel efficiency. In particular, whether oxygen concentration in a channel of an anode of a fuel cell stack exceeds a reference value is estimated while restarting the vehicle after the vehicle is parked. Then, an open time of a purge valve is adjusted based on a parking time of a vehicle when the hydrogen concentration is greater than the reference value.

Apparatus and method for controlling purge valve of fuel cell vehicle

A perceiving method and system of a stack state for a fuel cell system is provided. The method includes determining whether a vehicle provided with the fuel cell system is started and calculating a time until first condensate water is discharged through a condensate water discharging valve provided in the fuel cell system after the vehicle starts. Then, an average time until the first condensate water is discharged after the vehicle starts, at the previous starting of the vehicle is calculated over a predetermined number of times. The two calculated times are compared to determine the state of the stack or cathode of the fuel cell system without requiring additional separate components.

Perceiving method and system of stack state for fuel cell system

Disclosed is a technique of diagnosing a state of a fuel cell system. The technique includes configuring a processor to calculate a duty ratio and an average output current, based on real-time driving data for a preset driving period, during operation of a fuel cell vehicle; obtain a reference current value from the calculated duty ratio and the calculated average output current; and determine a state of a fuel cell system by choosing a state graph corresponding to the obtained reference current value among a plurality of state graphs which vary depending on each reference current value.
