A display device includes: a display panel which receives a driving voltage and an initialization voltage; a power manager which provides the driving voltage to the display panel; and a voltage generator which receives a feedback driving voltage from the display panel and generates the initialization voltage based on the feedback driving voltage. The feedback driving voltage is a voltage that is fed back to the voltage generator after the driving voltage supplied from the power manager passes through the display panel.

A display device includes a display panel to display an image for each of frame periods, and an input sensing unit directly on the display panel to sense a user input. A display device further includes a first driver to control driving of the display panel and a second driver to control driving of the input sensing unit. The frame period includes a display period and a blank period adjacent to the display period. The duration of the blank period may vary randomly during a set reference period.

A dual-display device includes a flexible substrate comprising first and second surfaces opposing each other, the first surface comprising a first area and a second area, the flexible substrate being bent to allow the first and second areas of the first surface to face each other, the second surface comprising first and second areas opposing the first and second areas of the first surface, respectively. A thin film transistor array substrate includes an active area in which a plurality of pixels are formed; driver integrated circuits (DICs) disposed in a non-active area around the active area and configured to supply a driving signal to each of the plurality of pixels; power input units partially overlapping with the DICs, disposed below the DICs, and configured to supply power voltages to the active area; and a user key mounting area formed not to overlap with the DICs in the non-active area. Double-sided emission type display device

A two side display device includes: a flexible substrate including a first substrate part, a second substrate part under the first substrate part, and a bending part coupling the first substrate part to the second substrate part; a first display panel on the first substrate part and configured to display a first image in a first direction; a second display panel under the second substrate part and configured to display a second image in a second direction opposite the first direction; and a driving chip coupled to the first substrate part. According to exemplary embodiments, first and second display panels are positioned on the same surface of a flexible substrate and configured to display images in opposing directions by bending the flexible substrate, which may reduce the thickness and manufacturing cost of the two side display device.

Two side display device and manufacturing method thereof

A display apparatus is disclosed. The display includes a display panel, a signal transmitter, and a driving chip. The signal transmitter is electrically connected with the display panel at a first bonding region of the display panel and receives an input signal from the outside. Further, the driving chip is electrically connected with the display panel at a second bonding region of the display panel and outputs a driving signal in response to the input signal. Further, the signal transmitter includes a base layer, a first conductive layer that is electrically connected with the display panel, and a second conductive layer that covers the first bonding region and the second bonding region. The second conductive layer can block electro static discharge and electro magnetic interference, such that it is possible to prevent display quality of the display apparatus from being deteriorated.

Display apparatus

A backlight assembly includes first and second backlight units independently operating based on driving modes, and a light blocking member interposed between the first and second backlight units. The first backlight assembly includes a first light source generating and supplying a first light to a main display part of a display panel in a main mode and turned-off in a sub mode. The second backlight assembly includes a second light source generating and supplying a second light having different color from the first light to a sub display part of the display panel in a main mode and a sub mode.
