A method for controlling an engine system having a supercharger and a turbocharger includes: an accelerator-pedal-opening-degree determination operation of determining whether an opening degree of an accelerator pedal detected after an engine starts is a first reference value or more; a first coolant temperature determination operation of determining whether, when the opening degree of the accelerator pedal is less than the first reference value, a detected temperature of a coolant is a second reference value or more; a second coolant temperature determination operation of determining whether the temperature of the coolant is the second reference value or more and is within a temperature threshold; and a boosting operation of calculating boosting contribution rates of the supercharger and the turbocharger, respectively, when the determined temperature of the coolant is within the temperature threshold and driving the supercharger and the turbocharger using the calculated boosting contribution rates.

Method for controlling engine system

A method for controlling a supercharger of a vehicle includes: determining, at a first determination step, whether or not an engine operates in a cylinder deactivation (CDA) mode; calculating, at a second determination step, a difference value between a target boost pressure of a turbocharger and a current boost pressure of intake air boosted by the turbocharger, and determining whether or not the difference value is equal to or greater than a reference difference value; determining, at a third determination step, based on a current operating condition of the engine whether or not the supercharger is allowed to operate; determining, at a fourth determination step, a target rpm of the supercharger, and determining whether or not the target rpm is equal to or greater than a reference rpm; and operating the supercharger at an operating step.

Method and system for controlling supercharger of vehicle

The present disclosure provides a boosting control method of an engine for cylinder de-activation (CDA). The method includes: a CDA operable area confirming step of determining, by a controller based on a driving state of the engine, whether the CDA is in an operable area after the engine starts; an actual boosting deriving step of deriving a total target boosting from the controller and calculating the desired actual boosting; a supercharger operable area confirming step of determining, by the controller, whether the supercharger is in the operable area; a supercharger target rotation speed deriving step of deriving, by the controller, a target rotation speed of the supercharger; and a supercharger passage opening step of closing a bypass valve to open a supercharger passage.

Boosting control method of engine for CDA

A method of controlling a supercharger includes: an information conversion step, a map deducing step, a boost amount deducing step, and a RPM deducing step. In the information conversion step, a sensor detects information of a vehicle, and a control unit converts the information into a factor and saves. The map deducing step includes deducing a total boost amount for driving an engine, and deducing a map for a target boost amount of a supercharger using a boost pressure of a turbocharger. A correction value deduced in the boost amount deducing step is calculated according to vehicle environment information, and a target RPM of the supercharger is calculated based on the target boost amount of the supercharger, and a boost pressure by the supercharger. In particular, the target boost amount of the supercharger is deduced based on the correction value, the converted factor, and the deduced map.

Method of controlling supercharger

A control method of a boosting apparatus includes: driving the boosting apparatus according to driving maps pre-input to a controller, judging driving conditions of an engine, selecting a driving map pre-input to the controller and reflecting the driving conditions in the selected driving map, correcting the driving maps of the boosting apparatus based on the selected driving map and driving the boosting apparatus based on the corrected driving maps, and confirming whether variations in operating amounts of the boosting apparatus are generated and, when the variations are confirmed, correcting the operating amounts of the boosting apparatus and reflecting the corrected operating amounts in the driving maps. In particular, the controller controls an EGR valve according to driving conditions through operation of the boosting apparatus and thus controls the amount of EGR gas supplied to the engine.

Control method of boosting apparatus

The present disclosure relates to an exhaust purification apparatus and a method of controlling the apparatus. The exhaust purification apparatus includes: an injector for injecting urea solution into an exhaust pipe; a driving unit to provide driving force for adjusting an injection angle of the injector; and a control unit to determine the injection angle of the injector based on values of a spatial velocity, flow rate, pressure and temperature of exhaust gas and to drive the driving unit so as to control the injection angle of the injector. In particular, the injection angle of the injector is adjusted by pivotal movement of the injector.

Exhaust purification apparatus for vehicle and method of controlling the same

A system for controlling an engine includes a driving information detector detecting driving information. At least one intake valve and at least one exhaust valve open and close the combustion chamber. A variable valve lift (VVL) system adjusts opening timing of the intake valve and the exhaust valve. A compressor rotates by a rotational force of a turbine and compresses intake air, and a vane adjusts the amount of exhaust gas supplied to the turbine. A controller controls opening of the vane using a high pressure EGR valve, when the exhaust valve is open during a suction stroke by the VVL system, the vehicle accelerates or decelerates, and an air/fuel ratio is beyond reference ratio range.

System for controlling engine using variable valve lift and method thereof

A variable valve lift system may include a roller finger follower having an end connected with a valve and a roller mounted thereto. A hydraulic lash adjuster supports another end of the roller finger follower and has operating modes which are changed to a high lift mode or a low lift mode according to supplied hydraulic pressure to change a height of the hydraulic lash adjuster. A hydraulic pressure supplying portion supplies the hydraulic pressure to the hydraulic lash adjuster. A cam is mounted to a camshaft and contacts the roller of the roller finger follower. The cam has a first ramp and a second ramp formed thereon.

Variable valve lift system

A method for fuel injection of an engine system may include detecting driving information, including a combustion pressure in a combustion chamber, a heat generation amount in the combustion chamber, a crank angle, and a pressure/temperature/air amount of an intake manifold and an exhaust manifold, setting a fuel amount and injection timing with respect to a pilot injection as map data from an internal temperature, determining whether a maximum combustion pressure change rate is greater than a predetermined pressure change rate, determining generation timing of the maximum combustion pressure change rate, when the maximum combustion pressure change rate is greater than the predetermined pressure change rate, and decreasing a fuel amount of the pilot injection when the maximum combustion pressure change rate is generated during the pilot injection.
