An OLED display device is discussed which can include: a first substrate defined into an emission region and a non-emission region; a first electrode formed on the first substrate; a bank pattern configured to expose a part of the first electrode corresponding to the emission region; an organic emission layer formed on the exposed part of the first electrode corresponding to the emission region; a second electrode which includes a first conductive layer formed on the organic emission layer and a second conductive layer formed on the second conductive layer. The first conductive layer is formed from an alloy of magnesium (Mg) and silver (Ag), and the second conductive layer is formed from silver (Ag). Such an OLED display device allows the second electrode to include the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer. As such, a large-sized display device with low resistance and high transmittance can be realized.

A flat panel display device and method of manufacturing the display device. The display device comprises a first substrate and a connection pad located along a side of the first substrate. A second substrate overlaps with the first substrate, wherein the second substrate does not overlap with an exposed portion of the first substrate. A first contact pad electrically couples the second substrate and the first substrate. A first distance from the side of the first substrate to a boundary between the exposed portion of the first substrate and the second substrate is greater than a second distance from the side of the first substrate to the first contact pad. The display device may be, for example, a touch capable display device that uses the first contact pad to transfer touch sensing signals from the second substrate to the first substrate.

An OLED device is disclosed. The OLED device includes a first substrate including a driver element and a connection electrode connected to the driver element, a second substrate including an organic light emission diode element, a contact spacer electrically connected to the connection electrode, and a sealant disposed into a cavity which is formed by the first and second substrates, the connection electrode, the organic light emission diode element, and the contact space. Herein, the sealant is bonded to the contact spacer and the connection electrode and maintains the electric connection between the contact spacer and the connection electrode. In this manner, the driver element and the organic light emission diode element are protected from external oxygen and/or moisture, and the electric connection between the connection electrode and the contact spacer is reinforced. Accordingly, the contact defect between the connection electrode and the contact spacer can be prevented and the structural strength of the OLED device can be greatly improved.

The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for driving an electro-luminescence display panel capable of doing an aging operation upon driving. A method of driving an electro-luminescence display panel according to the present invention includes: a scan period when electro-luminescence cells formed at a cross of both a plurality of scan lines and a plurality of data lines are line-sequentially emitted; and an aging period when an aging is performed in the electro-luminescence cells at the same time by applying a reverse bias, wherein the scan period and the aging period are repeated for each frame.

Method and apparatus for driving electro-luminescence display panel with an aging pulse

An organic electroluminescent (EL) display device is provided which can reduce a level of power consumption. The organic EL display device includes a plurality of anode columns formed on a substrate, each anode column having first and second anodes disposed adjacent to each other, with emitting areas of the first and second anodes being arranged alternately in a line; a plurality of walls intersecting the anode columns. A plurality of cathodes are formed between walls which intersect the anode columns to form two sub pixels. A plurality of secondary walls are formed between two adjacent walls, between the light emitting areas of the first and second anodes of each anode column. Each secondary wall may include a plurality of unit walls corresponding to one pixel with first, second and third sub pixels which emit different colored lights. Alternatively, each subsidiary wall may include a plurality of unit walls, with each unit wall corresponding to one of the first, second or third sub pixels.

An organic electroluminescent device includes a plurality walls intersecting with anode electrode layers and a plurality of mask supporting members formed between the anode electrode layers. A method for manufacturing the organic electroluminescent device includes: forming a plurality of anode electrode layers on a substrate; forming an insulating layer on the area except for predetermined areas of the anode electrode layers; forming a plurality of walls intersecting with each of the anode electrode layers; forming a plurality of mask supporting members, each formed on a predetermined area between the anode electrode layers; and forming organic EL layers and a plurality of cathode electrode layers by using a mask. The plurality of mask supporting members assists in preventing the walls and organic material layers from being damaged by the mask during the process of forming the organic EL layers and cathode electrode layers.
