An electronic apparatus includes: a display layer configured to display images; and a sensor layer on the display layer and comprising a sensing region and a non-sensing region; wherein the sensor layer includes: first sensing electrodes extending on the sensing region in a first direction and arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction; second sensing electrodes extending on the sensing region in the second direction and arranged in the first direction; and first sensing signal lines connected to the first sensing electrodes, respectively, through a contact part overlapping the sensing region, wherein a length of each of the first sensing electrodes in the first direction is greater than a length of each of the second sensing electrodes in the second direction, and the first sensing electrodes have a same length in the sensing region.

Sensor layer and electronic apparatus including the same

A display device is disclosed that includes a display panel and an input sensor including a plurality of conductive patterns. The conductive patterns include a first sensing electrode including first sensing patterns and bridge patterns, a second sensing electrode spaced apart from the first sensing electrode, and dummy patterns each overlapping the second sensing electrode and a first sensing pattern adjacent to the second sensing electrode in the first direction. Each of the bridge patterns is connected to two first sensing patterns through first contact holes. When a region, in which each of the plurality of dummy patterns overlaps each of the corresponding first sensing pattern and the second sensing electrode, is defined as an overlapping region, a dummy hole, which passes through a conductive pattern disposed on an upper part among the corresponding first sensing pattern, the second sensing electrode, and the plurality of dummy patterns, in a thickness direction, is defined in the overlapping region. Each of the bridge patterns is disposed between two dummy patterns in the second direction. Distances between the two dummy patterns and the bridge pattern, disposed between the two dummy patterns, are uniform in the second direction.

A display device includes a substrate including an opening area and a display area at least partially surrounding the opening area; and a metal layer including a first region and a second region adjacent to a non-display area between the opening area and the display area, the first region and the second region are spaced apart from each other, and one of the first region and the second region includes a protrusion extending toward the other of the first region and the second region, and the other of the first region and the second region has a shape to receive the protrusion.

A display panel includes a first display area where first light-emitting diodes; a second display area at least partially surrounded by the first display area and where second light-emitting diodes, wherein hole regions are defined between the second light-emitting diodes in the second display area, a pixel-defining layer and a light-shielding layer include openings respectively corresponding to the hole regions, and circuit devices forming second pixel circuits and wires connected to the second pixel circuits are not provided in each of the hole regions.

A display apparatus including a display panel, an input sensor having an active area having a plurality of electrodes disposed therein and at least a portion of which overlaps the display area, and a non-active area which overlaps the non-display area. The active area has a central area and a peripheral area disposed outward from the central area. The plurality of electrodes include center electrodes which are disposed in the central area and peripheral electrodes which are disposed in the peripheral area and have a surface area less than that of the center electrodes. Each of the center electrodes includes a sensing pattern and a floating pattern, and each of the peripheral electrodes includes substantially only the sensing pattern. Thus, an embodiment of the inventive concept may provide the display apparatus that includes an input sensor having improved sensitivity in a peripheral area.
