Display apparatus includes LEDs, bottom chassis to accommodate the LEDs; and reflective member disposed on the bottom chassis. The reflective member includes a reflective bottom portion, and a reflective inclined portion obliquely formed to face a rear surface of the display panel which includes first regions that respectively correspond to LEDs located adjacent to the reflective inclined portion, and second regions each provided between two neighboring first regions and has a reflective characteristic different from a reflective characteristic of a neighboring first region. Second regions and neighboring first regions are on the reflective inclined portion having a uniform incline angle with respect to a side edge of the reflective bottom portion, the first regions include a group of light adjusting members, and the group of light adjusting members of each of the first regions is disposed to correspond to one of the LEDs disposed adjacent to the reflective inclined portion.

Display module and display apparatus having the same

A display apparatus includes LEDs disposed behind a display panel; a bottom chassis to accommodate the LEDs; and a reflective member disposed on the bottom chassis. The reflective member includes a reflective inclined portion obliquely formed to face a rear surface of the display panel and including first regions that respectively correspond to LEDs located adjacent to the reflective inclined portion, and second regions each of which is provided between two neighboring first regions. The first regions include light adjusting members, and each of the second regions has a reflective characteristic different from a reflective characteristic of a neighboring first region. Each of the first regions includes a group of light adjusting members which is disposed to correspond to one of the LEDs disposed adjacent to the reflective inclined portion. The two neighboring first regions have more light adjusting members, respectively, than one of the second regions disposed therebetween.

A display apparatus includes a display panel, LEDs disposed behind the display panel and spaced from the display panel to emit light toward the display panel, a bottom chassis having a rear portion on which the LEDs are disposed, and a reflective member disposed inside the bottom chassis and configured to reflect light incident from the LEDs toward the display panel. A display module includes a display panel; a backlight unit which is disposed behind the display panel; a bottom chassis to accommodate the backlight unit; and a reflective sheet which is disposed inside the bottom chassis and configured to reflect a light portion incident thereon toward the display panel. The backlight unit includes LEDs disposed apart from one another in 2D array, and the reflective sheet includes a sheet bottom portion corresponding to a front surface of the bottom chassis, a sheet inclined portion which is obliquely formed to face a rear surface of the display panel, and light adjustment portions which are provided on the sheet inclined portion and configured to adjust the light portion reflected by the sheet inclined portion. Each of the light adjustment portions corresponds to one of the LEDs disposed adjacent to the sheet inclined portion.

An image display device is provided. The image display device includes a light source and a polarizer including a first polarizing region configured to linearly polarize light which is output from the light source and a second polarizing region configured to circularly polarize light which is output from the light source.

Disclosed herein is a display apparatus that reduces a magnitude of a tension applied to a flexible PCB when a display panel is provided with a curved surface, and prevents damage of a driving chip. The display apparatus in accordance with exemplary embodiments includes a display panel configured to display an image, a source printed circuit board configured to control the display panel, and a flexible PCB that connects the display panel and the source printed circuit board. A length of at least one side edge of the flexible PCB is formed longer than a minimum length from the display panel to the source printed circuit board.

A display apparatus includes a liquid crystal display panel configured to display an image, and a backlight unit configured to emit light to the liquid crystal display panel, wherein the backlight unit includes a bottom chassis comprising an accommodation space configured to accommodate a plurality of light sources, a middle mold provided on the bottom chassis, a diffusing plate provided on the middle mold, and a fixing member provided on an outer surface of the bottom chassis and configured to contact one side of the diffusing plate and prevent movement of the diffusing plate.

A control voltage generator and a related method generate control voltages having a phase difference. The control voltage generator includes first thru N-th loads (where N is a positive integer no less than 2), and is installed in an electronic device that may experience noise or malfunction when signals having the same phase are simultaneously inputted into the loads. In the control voltage generator, a sawtooth generator generates and outputs a sawtooth signal. and a first driving signal generator compares the sawtooth signal generated by the sawtooth generator with an input signal having information as to the degree of variation of an inherent level, which relates to an inherent function of the electronic device. The comparison result is outputted as a first driving signal. The control voltage generator also includes second thru N-th driving signal generators. An n-th driving signal generator (where 2&lE;n&lE;N) compares the input signal with the sawtooth signal, and outputs the comparison result as an n-th driving signal, the first thru N-th driving signals having different phases are provided to the first thru N-th loads, respectively, as control voltages, and the electronic device varies the inherent level in response to the control voltages. Therefore, it is possible to prevent unnecessary power consumption in the electronic device. In addition, it is possible to prevent the generation of noise and malfunction of the electronic device in advance, and it is also possible to increase the durability and reliability of the electronic device by preventing surges.
