An image magnification system is provided to facilitate display of images on a television screen by pairing a television with a mobile device for magnified viewing. The magnification system utilizes fine-tuning elements on both the mobile device and television to optimize output of images at the television screen. A coupling application of the mobile device communicates with an image display application of the television. A user launches the television image display application by interacting with controls at the mobile device. Digital images, such as photographs, video, etc., are transferred from the mobile device directly to the television where the images can be enhanced prior to display. The magnification system provides for enhanced casting by the television optimizing display settings and/or the image for improved display that is tailored to the viewing needs of the user.

Each region of the plurality of regions includes at least one of a surface projection or at least one braille embossed character set of a plurality of braille embossed character sets. A position of the surface projection corresponds to a position of a button on the remote control. The at least one braille embossed character set is one of adjacent to the surface projection or on the surface projection. The at least one braille embossed character set indicates a functionality of the button that corresponds to the position of the surface projection. A surface area of the base is larger than a surface area of the button layout of the remote control. The at least one region corresponds to a multi-function button on the remote control.

In some implementations, a method includes receiving a signal at a television, where the signal is associated with a television program. The method further includes determining the television program. The method further includes determining a plurality of variations of television settings based on the television program. The method further includes displaying the television program in each window of the plurality of windows, where the television program is displayed in each window based on a different variation of the plurality of variations of the television settings.

The method further includes modifying at least one of the predetermined behaviors, wherein the modifying of the results in at least one modified behavior. The method further includes observing at least one change in one or more of the responses, wherein the at least one change is responsive to the at least one modified behavior. The method further includes interacting with the user based on a second behavior pattern, wherein the second behavior pattern includes one or more of the predetermined behaviors and the modified behavior.

In some implementations, a method includes detecting one or more activities of a user, wherein the one or more activities include watching television. The method further includes monitoring one or more health vitals of the user. The method further includes tracking a health status of the user based on the one or more activities and based on the monitoring of the one or more health vitals. The method further includes detecting one or more health anomalies based the health status. The method further includes responding to the one or more health anomalies based on one or more predetermined policies.

Monitoring and reporting the health condition of a television user

An audio and video reproduction apparatus that comprises a memory, a display screen, and circuitry. The memory stores a sequence of image frames of multi-media content and closed caption (CC) information associated with the multi-media content. The circuitry detects a first position of a first object in an image frame, of the sequence of image frames, to be displayed on the display screen. The circuitry further controls, based on a user-input, the display screen to display the image frame in a first display portion of the display screen and display a first portion of the CC information at a second position in a second display portion of the display screen. The first portion of the CC information is displayed at the second position in the second display portion, based on the detected first position of the first object in the image frame.

An audio-video (AV) reproduction device that comprises at least one audio capturing device, at least one speaker, a memory, and circuitry. The memory stores setup information associated with first-time device setup of the audio-video reproduction device. The first-time device setup is associated with a plurality of configuration settings of the AV reproduction device. The circuitry controls the at least one speaker to output a message in the setup information, and controls the at least one audio capturing device to receive a user input based on the message. The circuitry compares the user input with at least one condition associated with the message. Various aspects of a speaker system and a method for auto-configuration of the speaker system is disclosed herein. The speaker system includes an electronic device, which reproduce a first audio in a first speaker configuration. A first sound reproduction device is detected within a pre-defined range of the electronic device. Based on the detection, the first audio is communicated to the first sound reproduction device by the electronic device. The first speaker configuration is modified to a second speaker configuration to reproduce the communicated first audio at the first sound reproduction device.
