An apparatus for estimating bio-information is provided. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the apparatus for estimating bio-information includes: a first sensor configured to measure a first pulse wave signal of a first wavelength and a second pulse wave signal of a second wavelength from an object; a second sensor configured to measure at least one of a force or a pressure applied to the object; and a processor configured to: generate an oscillometric waveform envelope based on the first pulse wave signal of the first wavelength and the at least one of the force or the pressure applied to the object; obtain a feature value from the oscillometric waveform envelope; predict a size of a measured blood vessel based on the second pulse wave signal of the second wavelength; correct the feature value based on the size of the measured blood vessel; and estimate the bio-information based on correcting the feature value.

Apparatus and method for estimating bio-information

An apparatus for estimating bio-information is provided. The apparatus for estimating bio-information includes: a pulse wave sensor configured to measure a pulse wave signal from an object; a force sensor configured to measure force exerted between the object and the pulse wave sensor; and a processor configured to obtain an oscillogram by using the pulse wave signal and the force, to determine a first mean arterial pressure (MAP) based on the obtained oscillogram, to extract additional information in an interval preceding a point of the first MAP of the oscillogram, to obtain a second MAP based on the first MAP and the additional information, and to estimate bio-information based on the obtained second MAP.

An apparatus for non-invasively estimating bio-information and a method of determining whether a bio-signal is normal by the apparatus for estimating bio-information are provided. The apparatus for estimating bio-information according to an embodiment of the disclosure includes: a photoplethysmogram (PPG) sensor configured to measure a PPG signal from an object; and a processor configured to extract a plurality of pairs of local maximum points and local minimum points from a second derivative signal of the PPG signal, to select at least one reference pair from among the extracted plurality of pairs, and to determine whether the PPG signal is normal based on the selected at least one reference pair.

Apparatus for estimating bio-information and method of detecting abnormal bio-signal

An apparatus for estimating blood pressure may include: a photoplethysmogram (PPG) sensor configured to measure a PPG signal from a user; and a processor configured to: extract a cardiovascular feature from the PPG signal; calculate a first variation in the extracted cardiovascular feature compared to a reference cardiovascular feature measured at a reference time; determine a measurement posture of the PPG signal based on a time interval between two waveform components of the PPG signal; in response to the measurement posture corresponding to the reference posture, estimate the blood pressure based on the first variation; and in response to the measurement posture not corresponding to the reference posture, obtain a second variation by correcting the first variation; and estimate blood pressure based on the second variation.

Apparatus and method for estimating blood pressure

An apparatus for estimating blood pressure is provided. According to one embodiment, the apparatus for estimating blood pressure may include: a first sensor configured to obtain a pulse wave signal of a green wavelength from an object when the object is in contact with the first sensor; a second sensor configured to measure an external force applied to the second sensor while the first sensor is obtaining the pulse wave signal; and a processor configured to obtain an oscillometric envelope based on a direct current (DC) component of the pulse wave signal of the green wavelength and the external force, and estimate the blood pressure using the oscillometric envelope.

An apparatus for non-invasively measuring bio-information is provided. The apparatus for estimating bio-information may include a pulse wave sensor including a plurality of channels, and configured to measure pulse wave signals at a plurality of points of an object; and a processor configured to generate oscillograms corresponding to the plurality of channels based on the pulse wave signals measured by the plurality of channels; determine a channel, from among the plurality of channels, for estimating the bio-information based on the oscillograms; and estimate the bio-information based on an oscillogram of the channel.

An apparatus for estimating bio-information, the apparatus including a pulse wave sensor and a processor. The pulse wave sensor includes a plurality of channels, each channel of the plurality of channels being configured to measure a first pulse wave signal of a first wavelength and a second pulse wave signal of a second wavelength that is different from the first wavelength. The processor is configured to: for each channel of the plurality of channels, generate a first oscillogram based on the first pulse wave signal, generate a second oscillogram based on the second pulse wave signal, and convert a phase delay between the first oscillogram and the second oscillogram into an area. The processor is further configured to determine a channel among the plurality of channels based on the area of each channel, and estimate bio-information based on the determined channel.

An apparatus for estimating bio-information is provided. The apparatus for estimating bio-information may include a pulse wave sensor configured to measure a pulse wave signal from an object; a force sensor configured to measure a first force exerted between the object and the pulse wave sensor; and a processor configured to: convert the first force into a second force, based on structure information of the object; and estimate the bio-information, based on the pulse wave signal and the second force.

An apparatus for non-invasively measuring bio-information is provided. The apparatus for estimating bio-information may include a pulse wave sensor configured to measure a pulse wave signal from an object; a sensor position sensor configured to obtain sensor position information of the pulse wave sensor with respect to the object, based on the object being in contact with the pulse wave sensor; and a processor configured to estimate the bio-information based on blood vessel position information of the object, the sensor position information, and the pulse wave signal.
