An organic light emitting diode (OLED) including at least one emitting material layer (EML) disposed between two electrodes and comprising a first compound including a fused ring of boron and oxygen as a nuclear atom and a second compound including a fused ring of born and nitrogen as a nuclear atom and an organic light emitting device including the OLED is disclosed. The first compound and the second compound may be the same emitting material layer or adjacently disposed emitting material layers. The OLED can lower its driving voltage and improve its luminous efficiency using the first and second compounds with adjusting their energy levels.

The organic light emitting diode and the organic light emitting display device can improve its luminous efficiency and color purity, reduce its driving voltage and enhance its luminous efficiency and luminous lifetime by applying the organic compound.

An organic light emitting diode (OLED) includes a first emitting material layer disposed adjacently to a first electrode and a second emitting material layer disposed adjacently to a second electrode. The first emitting material layer includes a first compound having high affinity to holes and a second compound of thermally activated delayed fluorescent material, and the second emitting material layer includes a fourth compound having high affinity to electrons and implementing triplet-triplet annihilation. Two emitting material layers having adjusted energy levels allow the OLED to lower its driving voltages and improve its luminous efficiency and luminous lifetime.

The present disclosure provides an organic light emitting diode including a first electrode; a second electrode facing the first electrode; and an emitting material layer including a first compound and a second compound positioned between the first and second electrodes, wherein the first compound includes a hexagonal-ring moiety including one boron atom, one oxygen atom and four carbon atoms, and the second compound includes a hexagonal-ring moiety including one boron atom, one nitrogen atom and four carbon atoms, and an organic light emitting device including the organic light emitting diode.

The present disclosure relates to an organic compound having the following structure of Chemical Formula 1, and an organic light emitting diode (OLED) and an organic light emitting device including the organic compound. The organic compound is a bipolar organic compound having a p-type moiety and an n-type moiety. The organic compound has a high excited triplet energy level, a wide energy bandgap and excellent thermal stability. When the organic compound is introduced into an emitting material layer (EML) of the OLED, holes and electrons are recombined in the whole area of the EML, thus the OLED can improve its luminous efficiency and luminous lifetime.
