An oven in which a cooking space in a cooking chamber is dividable into a plurality of individual cooking spaces by a partition member. The oven includes a door assembly including a main door rotatably combined with a main body and provided with a plurality of openings corresponding to the respective plurality of individual cooking spaces and a plurality of individual doors rotatably combined with the main body to open and close the respective plurality of openings. The door assembly may selectively open and close the entirety of the cooking space or the respective plurality of individual cooking spaces, and thus a heat loss or danger of burn generated due to opening and closing the main door when only the individual cooking space is used may be prevented.

A cooking apparatus performing cooking with a cooking container disposed at any desired position on a cooking plate, and a heating device thereof. The cooking apparatus includes a cooking plate to receive a cooking container thereon, and at least one working coil disposed under the cooking plate to heat the cooking container, the at least one working coil including a first portion and a second portion having a different winding structure of a conducting wire which forms the working coil so that a winding density of the conducting wire at one of the first portion and the second portion is relatively higher than the other of the first portion and the second portion.

Disclosed herein is a cooking apparatus that is capable of partially heating a cooking chamber depending upon an amount of food to be cooked through a relatively simple mechanical structure without using an additional control unit. The cooking apparatus includes a cooking chamber, a hot air supply unit to supply hot air into the cooking chamber, and a divider to divide the cooking chamber. The hot air supply unit includes a heater, a blowing fan to supply air heated by the heater into the cooking chamber, a fan cover having inlet holes and outlet holes, an opening and closing cover to partially open and close the inlet holes and the outlet holes of the fan cover, and interlocking units operating together with the attachment and detachment of the divider to move the opening and closing cover.

Cooking apparatus with divider

A cooking apparatus and a method selectably cook food using one or more of a plurality of cooking spaces formed by a divider while using a same heat source and control different temperatures of the cooking spaces formed by the divider. An embodiment of the cooking apparatus includes a cooking chamber, a divider to divide the cooking chamber into cooking spaces, a heated air supply unit including a fan cover having upper and lower ventilation holes, a detection unit including temperature sensors to detect the interior temperatures of the cooking spaces, an airflow adjusting unit to adjust an amount of heated air supplied, and a control unit to control the amount of heated air, based on an interior temperature of the cooking space, to adjust a temperature to a target temperature set by a user.

Cooking apparatus and method of controlling the same

A heating cooking apparatus including a body, a steam container, a steam heater, and a heater covering portion. The body has a cooking compartment in which food is disposed. The steam container includes a chamber, a water supply portion to supply water into the chamber, and a steam discharge portion to discharge steam generated in the chamber into the cooking compartment. The steam heater has a chamber bottom forming portion that is coupled to a lower end of the steam container so as to cover a bottom of the chamber and adapted to heat water supplied into the chamber. The heater covering portion is configured to cover a rim of the steam heater. Covering the rim of the steam heater using the heater covering portion alleviates the risk of power leakage accidents caused when water at the outside of a steam generator comes into contact with the steam heater.

Steam generator and heating cooking apparatus having the same

The water level sensing unit includes a sensing member having a sensor, the sensing member being installed at a side of the steam container, and a pivoting member having an extension adapted to pivotally rotate about a side thereof having a fixed position on the basis of the level of water. The sensor is adapted to sense positional variation of the extension, to thereby sense variation of the level of water in the steam container.

The steam generator includes a steam container to store water and having at least one steam ejection hole formed at an upper location thereof, a heater adapted to heat the water stored in the steam container so as to generate steam, and a barrier unit provided below the steam ejection hole and adapted to prevent the air bubbles from entering the steam ejection hole. The barrier unit includes a base plate having a plurality of steam passage holes and a web plate coming into close contact with an inner wall surface of the steam container.

Cooking apparatus and method for controlling the same

A coating composition and a cooking device and/or cooking receptacle coated with the coating composition are described. The coating composition includes 10 to 30 wt. % of SiO, 10 to 30 wt. % of PO, 10 to 30 wt. % of AlO, 1 to 20 wt. % of TiO, 7 to 15 wt. % of NaO, 7 to 15 wt. % of KO, 5 to 10 wt. % of ZrO, 2 to 5 wt. % of BaO, 2 to 5 wt. % of BO, 1 to 2 wt. % of MnO, and an adhesion enhancer. The coating composition provides favorable thermal resistance, acid resistance and mechanical properties, such that a cooking device and/or receptacle coated with the coating composition may be easily cleaned at a relatively low temperature.

A cooking device is provided which blows most of the air blown from a circulation fan in a heater room to a heater, such that the heating of air by the heater is facilitated and the volume of the rear side of a heater case is reduced to permit manufacture of the cooking device in a small size. The cooking device includes a heater case provided to form a heater room in an inner case, a circulation fan installed in the heater room, a heater installed outside of the circulation fan in the heater room, a motor mounted outside the heater case and driving the circulation fan, and a first sunken part formed such that a portion of the heater case, on which the motor is mounted, is sunken inward with respect to the heater room by a predetermined depth.

Cooking device

A cooking apparatus and a method of controlling the cooking apparatus allow a temperature distribution of hot air to be uniform in a cooking cavity so that food in the cooking cavity is uniformly cooked, and enables initial heating of the air in the cooking cavity to be rapidly accomplished so that a cooking time is reduced. The cooking apparatus includes a cooking cavity, and first and second convection modules. The cooking cavity cooks food contained therein. The first convection module heats air in the cooking cavity and circulates the heated air. The second convection module is placed to be opposite to the first convection module so as to heat the air and circulate the heated air.
