With respect to a cross-section of the internal electrode in the second and third directions, when an average length of the lead-out portion in contact with the external electrode is defined as 'A' and an average length of the external electrode, connected to the lead-out portion, in contact with the body is defined as “B,” “A/B” is 0.75 or less.

Multilayer electronic component and board having multilayer electronic component mounted thereon

A coil component includes a body having an upper surface and a lower surface opposing each other in a thickness direction, a support substrate disposed in the body and having one surface perpendicular to the lower surface of the body, a coil portion disposed on the support substrate, and first and second external electrodes disposed on the lower surface of the body. The body includes an active portion, covering the coil portion, and first and second cover portions, respectively disposed on opposing surfaces of the active portion. An electronic device may include a display panel displaying an image. The display panel may include: a substrate including a first display region and a second display region, which are adjacent to each other, and a non-display region surrounding at least one side of each of the first and second display regions; a plurality of first pixels provided in the first display region; and a plurality of second pixels provided in the second display region. The second display region may have a light transmittance higher than that of the first display region, and each of the first pixels may have a size different from that of each of the second pixels.

A method for processing a three-dimensional holographic image includes obtaining depth images from depth data of a three-dimensional object, dividing each of the depth images into a predetermined number of sub-images, obtaining interference patterns of computer-generated hologram (CGH) patches corresponding to each of the sub-images by performing a Fourier transform to calculate an interference pattern in a CGH plane for object data included in each of the sub-images, and generating a CGH for the three-dimensional object using the obtained interference patterns of the CGH patches.

Method and apparatus for processing three-dimensional holographic image

A display device includes a substrate including a pixel area and a transmission area, and a pixel circuit disposed in the pixel area. The pixel circuit includes a first thin-film transistor included in a first multi-layer film, and a second thin-film transistor included in a second multi-layer film on the first multi-layer film. The first thin-film transistor and the second thin-film transistor are electrically connected to each other. The display device also includes a display element disposed on the second multi-layer film and including a pixel electrode electrically connected to the second thin-film transistor via a contact hole defined in the second multi-layer film, an opposite electrode facing the pixel electrode, and an intermediate layer between the pixel electrode and the opposite electrode.

A multilayer electronic component includes: a body including dielectric layers and internal electrodes alternately disposed with the dielectric layers interposed therebetween in a first direction; and external electrodes connected to the internal electrodes. The body has first and second surfaces opposing each other in the first direction and one or more side surfaces positioned between the first and second surfaces. The body has a protruding portion protruding in the first direction and outer peripheral portions around the protruding portion on the first surface of the body. The external electrodes cover the outer peripheral portions, the side surfaces, and the second surface of the body. In the second surface of the body, portions that are covered by the external electrodes and a portion that is not covered by the external electrodes are substantially coplanar with each other.

Multilayer electronic component

A multilayer capacitor includes a capacitor body having an active region, upper and lower cover regions, and width margins on opposing sides of the active region. The width margin includes a first region on an internal side thereof adjacent the first and second internal electrodes and a second region on an external side between the first region and a respective external surface of the capacitor body, and the upper and lower cover regions each include a third region on an internal side thereof adjacent the internal electrodes and a fourth region on an external side between the third region and a respective external surface of the capacitor body. The active region, the second region, and the fourth region have a same dielectric constant A, and the first and third regions have a same dielectric constant B, and A and B are different from each other and satisfy 0.5≤B/A.

Multilayer capacitor

A multilayer capacitor and a board having the multilayer capacitor mounted thereon are provided. The multilayer capacitor includes a capacitor body including a dielectric layer and first and second internal electrodes, and first and second external electrodes disposed on both ends of the capacitor body and connected to exposed portions of the first and second internal electrodes, respectively. A/B satisfies 0.0016≤A/B<1 in which A is a thickness of the dielectric layer and B is an average length of margins of the capacitor body in a length direction, and A is 1 μm or less.
