A laundry treating apparatus includes a first nozzle water supply conduit which is disposed, on the gasket, in the one side with respect to the vertical line and guides water discharged through the first circulation port to the pair of first nozzles; and a second nozzle water supply conduit which is disposed, on the gasket, in the other side with respect to the vertical line and guides water discharged through the second circulation port to the pair of second nozzles.

A washing machine is configured to rotate a cylindrical drum formed by processing a metal sheet about a horizontal axis. The drum includes a lifter, formed by processing the metal sheet, respectively provided at a plurality of points spaced along a circumferential direction, when viewed from a front side. The lifter includes a front lifter which is formed by protruding the metal sheet into the drum, and pressurized to be extended in a longitudinal direction of the drum, and a rear lifter disposed in a rear side of the front lifter. The rear lifter is disposed to form a certain phase angle with respect to the front lifter.

A washing machine includes a casing, a tub, a drum, a pump for sending water discharged from the tub, a gasket connecting an input port of the casing to an opening of the tub and having nozzles for spraying water into the drum, and a nozzle water supply pipe configured to guide water introduced through the opening into a first sub-flow and a second sub-flow. The nozzle water pipe includes first nozzle water supply ports, formed on a first flow path to which the first sub-flow is guided, for supplying the first sub-flow to any two or more nozzles among the plurality of nozzles, and second nozzle water supply ports, formed on a second flow path to which the second sub-flow is guided, for supplying the second sub-flow to other two or more nozzles among the plurality of nozzles.

A washing machine includes: a casing, a tub, a drum, a cylindrical gasket connecting an input port of the casing to an opening of the tub, a pump configured to circulate water discharged from the tub; a guide pipe fixed to the gasket configured to guide water supplied from the pump, and nozzles configured to spray water from the guide pipe into the drum. The nozzles include an upper nozzle configured to spray water downward, intermediate nozzles disposed below the upper nozzle in both left and right sides and configured to spray water downward while spraying water deeper into the drum than the upper nozzle, and lower nozzles disposed above the inflow port, disposed below the intermediate nozzles in both left and right sides based on the inflow port and configured to spray water upward.

A method controls a washing machine including a drum rotatably provided in a tub that receives water, at least one nozzle spraying water into the drum, a washing motor rotating the drum, and a circulation pump circulating water within the washing machine. The method includes: controlling a rotation of the drum by operating the washing motor to rotate the drum at a first rotation speed in a first rotation direction, and to maintain a rotation of the drum at the first rotation speed in the first rotation direction so that laundry in the drum maintains contact with an inner circumferential surface of the drum; and controlling a pump speed of the circulation pump by operating a circulation pump motor in the circulation pump to accelerate and decelerate at least once while the washing motor rotates the drum at the first rotation speed in the first rotation direction.

Washing machine, and method for controlling the same

A front-loading washing machine and a control method therefor are disclosed. The control method includes: when a sensed amount of laundry in a drum is equal to or less than a preset amount, rubbing step at which the drum is rotated in both directions, wherein the rubbing step comprises: a first rotation step at which the drum is rotated in a first direction by a preset one-direction rotational angle; and a second rotation step at which the drum is rotated by the one-direction rotational angle in a second direction opposite to the first direction, and wherein the first rotation step and the second rotation step are performed alternately and repeatedly. Accordingly, it is possible to perform a washing motion which improves washing performance and reduces wear and tear of the laundry.

A control method of washing machine includes: a first detection step of acquiring amount of laundry accommodated in a washing tub; a first washing step of performing washing based on a first laundry amount, when the first laundry amount acquired in the first detection step is equal to or larger than a preset first threshold value; a second detection step of, acquiring the laundry amount accommodated in the washing tub by an output of an output layer of an artificial neural network while using a current value inputted to a motor for rotating and acceleration of the washing tub as an input data of an input layer of the artificial neural network previously learned by machine learning; and a second washing step of performing washing based on a second laundry amount, when the second laundry amount acquired in the second detection step is smaller than the first threshold value.

Artificial intelligence washing machine and controlling method therefor

Disclosed is an artificial intelligence laundry treatment apparatus including a washing tub configured to receive laundry, the washing tub being configured to be rotatable, a motor configured to rotate the washing tub, a controller configured to control the motor such that the washing tub is rotated while being accelerated, and a current sensing unit configured to sense current of the motor, wherein the controller is configured to obtain laundry weight and laundry quality from output of an output layer of an artificial neural network pre-trained based on machine learning using a current value sensed by the current sensing unit during accelerated rotation of the washing tub as input of an input layer of the artificial neural network within a range within which the laundry moves in the washing tub.
