Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for a first base station transmitting a control message to a user equipment (UE). The control message may include an indication to perform a measurement during one or more resources associated with the first base station and that correspond to a second base station. The UE may measure reference signals transmitting via the beam of the second base station and during the time and frequency resources of the first base station. Based on the measurements, the UE determine an interference status correspond to the beam of the second base station and transmits an indication of the interference status to the first base station.

Reporting neighboring cell interference due to beam jamming

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitted may use a closed loop precoder for line-of-sight (LOS) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communications that uses information such as distance feedback or LOS MIMO channel state feedback. A closed loop precoder may be associated with less overhead than a precoder based on full channel knowledge, such as an SVD precoder. A receiver may estimate a channel based on channel state information reference signals transmitted by the transmitter and calculate a spectral efficiency for one or more precoders of a set of precoders associated with the channel for a LOS MIMO mode. The receiver may send feedback to the transmitter that indicates a selected precoder of the set of LOS MIMO precoders based on the calculated spectral efficiencies. The transmitter may precode messages using the reported closed loop precoder.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for a transmitter (e.g., a user equipment (UE) or base station) and receiver (e.g., a UE or base station) to transmit and receive data packets that are encoded according to an outer coding technique. The outer coding technique may provide for data bits and parity bits to be included in a single physical layer transmission. In some cases, data packets (e.g., data bits) may be segmented into multiple subpackets, and coding may be performed across different subpackets of different data packets (e.g., in a diagonal coding pattern). In some examples, each transmission in the physical layer may contain both data subpackets and parity subpackets, which may balance an input and an output load of a buffer (e.g., a layer two (L2) decoding buffer at the receiver) during decoding.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a broadcast message via a cell associated with a network entity. The broadcast message may include an indication that the cell supports a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT. In some examples, the first RAT may be associated with a first subcarrier spacing (SCS) and the second RAT may be associated with a second SCS. The UE may perform measurements of one or more reference signals associated with the first RAT based on the indication. In some examples, the one or more reference signals may be multiplexed with physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) data. The UE may transmit a channel feedback report to the network entity based on performing measurements of the one or more reference signals, and may demodulate the PDSCH data using the first SCS and the second SCS.

A method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving information from, a network entity, scheduling transmission of a plurality of uplink data channel repetitions in one or more slots according to a frequency hopping scheme that configures frequency hops between transmissions of repetitions of the plurality of uplink data channel repetitions and transmitting the plurality of uplink data channel repetitions in the one or more slots, the one or more slots comprising at least a full duplex slot including an uplink subband and a downlink subband.

Data aware precoding techniques are disclosed. A transmitter may apply a precoder function to payload data to obtain a precoded data transmission. The precoder function may include a first portion, e.g., based on a channel measurement, and a second portion, e.g., based on data for transmission. A receiver may receive a precoded data transmission that is precoded based on a channel measurement and based on data comprised in the data transmission. The receiver may decode the precoded data transmission based on the channel measurement and the data comprised in the data transmission.

In some examples, a base station may transmit SSBs using two synchronization raster grids. For example, the base station may transmit SSBs on a first synchronization raster grid for UEs that do not support RISs and on a second synchronization raster grid for UEs that support RISs. In some examples, a base station may transmit different types of SSBs. For example, a base station may transmit a first type of SSB for UEs that do not support RISs and a second type of SSB for UEs that support RISs. A method for wireless communication may include receiving a single frequency networked composite reference signal (SFNed RS) at a first port of a user equipment (UE) and receiving a reference signal (RS) at a second port of the UE that is different than the first port of the UE. A user equipment (UE) may identify a resource for a joint uplink transmission comprising a sounding reference signal and a scheduling request. Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for communicating channel state information (CSI) reports. In some aspects, downlink resources can be monitored for reception of downlink signaling, a CSI report can be generated based on the reception of the downlink signaling, where the CSI report indicates CSI for each of multiple sub-bands of the downlink resources, and the CSI report can be transmitted with hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement or negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) feedback associated with the downlink signaling to facilitate retransmission with improved block error rate (BLER). In some aspects, a base station receiving the CSI report, or otherwise based on uplink signals, can determine transmission parameters for retransmission to facilitate the improved BLER.

Techniques for providing channel quality feedback for enhanced reliability in wireless communications

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may determine that a distance between an end of a first downlink control information (DCI) and a corresponding first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) and a distance between an end of a second DCI and a corresponding second PDSCH satisfy a minimum distance threshold for a user equipment (UE). The ends of the DCIs are to be received at the same symbol. The base station may transmit the first DCI, the first PDSCH, the second DCI, and the second PDSCH based at least in part on determining that the distances satisfy the minimum distance threshold. In some aspects, the UE may decode the first and second DCIs in an order that depends on DCI properties. Numerous other aspects are provided.
