A display device may include a display panel, an input sensing unit, and an alignment structure. The display panel may include a sealing member. The input sensing unit may be disposed on the display panel. The input sensing unit may include first-type sensor electrodes directly contacting a face of a first insulator of the display device, a first-type connector electrically connecting the first-type sensor electrodes, second-type sensor electrodes directly contacting the face of the first insulator of the display device, and a second-type connector electrically connecting the second-type sensor electrodes. The alignment structure may overlap the sealing member and may include a transparent member that directly contacts the face of the first insulator of the display device.

Touch sensing unit and display device including the same

A touch sensing unit includes a first touch electrode disposed in a touch sensor area. A second touch electrode is disposed in the touch sensor area. A first touch line is disposed in a touch peripheral area. The first touch line is electrically connected to the first touch electrode. The touch peripheral area is disposed on a periphery of the touch sensor area. A second touch line is disposed in the touch peripheral area. The second touch line is electrically connected to the second touch electrode. The touch peripheral area includes first and second regions. In the first region, a width of the first touch line is smaller than a width of the second touch line. In the second region, the width of the first touch line is equal to the width of the second touch line.

A touch sensor includes a first area and a second area; first electrode units comprising a plurality of first touch electrodes arranged in a first direction and electrically connected to one another and located in the first area; second electrode units comprising a plurality of second touch electrodes arranged in a second direction and electrically connected to one another and located in the first area; and a first electrode pattern comprising a first portion located in the first area and electrically connected to one of the first electrode units that is adjacent thereto, and a second portion extended from the first portion to the second area, wherein a width of the first electrode pattern in the first direction is less than a width of the first touch electrodes in the first direction and is greater than half the width of the first touch electrodes.

Touch sensor and display device

A touch sensor includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and a sensing channel. The first electrode includes first electrode cells arranged in a first direction, a first connection portion connecting the first electrode cells in the first direction and a first opening disposed in at least one of the first electrode cells. The second electrode includes an electrode portion disposed in the first opening. The electrode portion is disposed on a same layer as the first electrode cells and separated from the first electrode. The sensing channel includes a first terminal and a second terminal. The first terminal is connected to the first electrode. The second terminal is connected to the second electrode.

Touch sensor and display device including the same

A touch sensor includes a base layer including a first to third sensing region and a non-sensing region surrounding the first to third sensing region; a plurality of touch electrode rows provided in the first to third sensing regions and including a plurality of first touch electrodes connected in a first direction; and a plurality of touch electrode columns including a plurality of second touch electrodes connected in a second direction crossing the first direction. At least one of the first to third sensing regions has an area larger than that of other sensing regions. The non-sensing region includes an additional non-sensing region disposed between the second sensing region and the third sensing region and a bridge line provided in the additional non-sensing region and electrically connecting the first touch electrodes of the second sensing region to the first touch electrodes of the third sensing region.

A display device including a substrate having an active area and a non-active area having first to fourth areas, a light-emitting element on the substrate, a touch layer having a main touch area overlapping the active area, and an encapsulation layer between the light-emitting element and the touch layer, in which the first area is between the active area and the second area, the third area is between the second and fourth areas, the touch layer includes touch electrodes and touch lines connected to the touch electrodes, the touch lines include a first touch line part overlapping the first area and a second touch line part overlapping the third area, the first touch line part includes first and second touch conductive layers of the touch layer, and the second touch line part includes the first touch conductive layer and does not include the second touch conductive layer.

A display device includes: a display panel having a display area and a non-display area at least partially disposed around the display area; and a touch sensor disposed on the display panel and including a touch sensor area in the display area and a touch peripheral area in the non-display area adjacent to the touch sensor area, wherein the touch sensor includes: a first touch electrode and a second touch electrode; a first touch pad and a second touch pad being adjacent to each other in a first direction; a second touch pad disposed in a touch pad area of the touch peripheral area; a first touch signal line electrically connecting the first touch electrode with the first touch pad, the first touch signal line including a first line portion extended in the first direction and a second line portion extended in a second direction; a second touch signal line electrically connecting the second touch electrode with the second touch pad; a first dummy line extended in the first direction and spaced apart from the first and second touch signal lines; and a second dummy line extended in the first direction and spaced apart from the first and second touch signal lines.

A display device includes a display panel including pixels and a scan driver for driving the pixels. The pixels are in a display area and the scan driver is in a non-display area. A touch sensing unit is disposed on the display panel and includes touch electrodes disposed in a sensing area and touch sensing lines connected to the touch electrodes. The non-display area includes at least one multiplexer, the touch sensing lines are electrically connected to input terminals of the at least one multiplexer through touch contact holes formed on the display panel. Sensing channels electrically connected to output terminals of the multiplexer are parallel to the scan driver. The at least one multiplexer is disposed between the sensing channels and the scan driver.

Display device including a touch sensing unit

A display device includes a display unit including a plurality of light emitting areas, a plurality of touch electrodes disposed between the plurality of light emitting areas to sense a touch, a plurality of light blocking pattern layers formed by covering intersection areas of driving electrodes and sensing electrodes among the plurality of touch electrodes, a plurality of connection electrodes formed on the plurality of light blocking pattern layers to electrically connect the driving electrodes or the sensing electrodes adjacent to each other, and a plurality of code patterns formed of the same material as the plurality of light blocking pattern layers through the same process.

A display device includes a display unit, and a touch sensing unit disposed on the display unit, wherein the touch sensing unit includes a substrate, a first sensing electrode disposed on the substrate, wherein the first sensing electrode includes a plurality of touch conductive patterns separated from each other, a second sensing electrode disposed on the same layer as the first sensing electrode and insulated from the first sensing electrode, and a connection electrode electrically connecting the touch conductive patterns to each other, wherein the connection electrode includes a first connection electrode overlapping the second sensing electrode and a second connection electrode not overlapping the second sensing electrode.
