The present invention relates to a method for packaging secondary optical element. By coating optical glue on the bottom surface of the secondary optical element and on the substrate and by hardening individually, as well as using the technical characteristics of flipping the substrate and the fixture, the secondary optical element can fall naturally and be positioned above an optoelectric device such as a solar cell or a light-emitting diode. No additional fastener is required for supporting the secondary optical element.

Method for packaging secondary optical element

The present invention relates to a method for packaging solar cell receivers having secondary optical elements. The present invention adopts a mold having mold cavities with special shapes. By filling mold cavities with optical encapsulant, the substrate containing solar cells is placed upside down towards the mold. Then the solar cells are immersed into the optical encapsulant before curing. Then, the cured optical encapsulant has the characteristics of the secondary optical elements and thus can be used as secondary optical elements such as spherical lenses. Meanwhile, the packaging of the solar cells is completed as well. The overall process requires only one curing process, which reduces the packaging time substantially.

Method for packaging solar cell receiver having secondary optical elements

A method for manufacturing an absorber layer of thin film solar cells is revealed. Firstly vapors of different metal-organic sources are generated in a plurality of containers used for mounting different metal-organic sources. Then the vapors of the metal-organic sources are mixed with a carrier gas and are filled into a reaction together with a reaction gas chamber through pipelines. Next the metals and the compounds are deposited on a substrate in the reaction chamber to form an absorber layer of a thin film solar cell. A flow rate of each metalorganic vapors filled into the reaction chamber is controlled by a mass flow controller respectively.

Method for manufacturing absorber layer of thin film solar cell using MOCVD

A concentration photovoltaic module includes a radiator, solar cell units, a datum plate, an optical unit and an alignment unit. The radiator includes apertures defined therein. The solar cell units are located on the radiator. The datum plate is located on the radiator. From a lower face of the datum plate extend positioning columns corresponding to the apertures defined in the radiator. The datum plate is provided with marks corresponding to some of the solar cell units. The optical unit is provided with lines near edges thereof. The alignment unit includes a board and light sources. The board is formed with corners corresponding to the lines provided on the datum plate. The light sources are located on the board. The light sources cast light on the solar cell units through the marks.

Device for aligning a concentration photovoltaic module

A frame is provided for highly-concentrated photovoltaic cells. The frame uses vertical and horizontal rods. Connectors are fixed at where the vertical and horizontal rods connect. The frame is constructed with the rods and connectors coordinated with fixing components. Thus, solar cell receivers can be directly set at any place on the frame; and the frame can be easily constructed and safely moved. Furthermore, location space is effectively used and weather resistance is achieved.

An outer frame drainage structure of a concentrator type solar cell module, wherein, a drainage element having a predetermined height is disposed between a side board and a frame edge, hereby keeping a drainage slit between said side board and the corresponding frame edge, so that moisture will not remain inside the concentrator type solar cell module, thus the concentrator type solar cell module is able to operate in an optimal light-to-electricity conversion efficiency. In a structure mentioned above, a concave slit is formed through engaging and positioning an extended and bent positioning portion of the side board into a positioning slot of the frame edge, and the concave slit is linked to the drainage slit, thus facilitating exit of moisture and preventing intrusion of foreign objects effectively.

The present invention discloses a manufacturing method of a condensing lens for a high concentration photovoltaic (HCPV) module. A buffer layer made of silicone is added between a glass and the condensing lens for adhering the glass to the condensing lens. Because the buffer layer can be formed on the glass before adhering to the condensing lens, a higher temperature for increasing adhesion between the glass and the buffer layer can be applied. It also allows the follow-up processes to have sufficient treatment time, thereby increasing the flexibility of processing schedule.

Condensing lens for high concentration photovoltaic module and manufacturing method thereof

A lens device includes a base, groups of prism-like elements formed on the base and at least two alignment points formed on the base. Each of the groups and a related portion of the base form a lens. Each of the prism-like elements comprises an incidence surface in the form of a camber. The alignment points are used for alignment of a laser device with the lens device.

Lens for concentration photovoltaic module

Disclosed is a cable for use in a concentrating photovoltaic module. The cable includes at least one strand wrapped with an optically pervious or reflective sheath. The pervious sheath is made of a material that exhibits a penetration rate of 90% and survives a temperature of at least 140 degrees Celsius. The reflective sheath is made of a material that exhibits a reflection rate of 95% and survives a temperature of at least 140 degrees Celsius. The cable is used to connect an anode of the concentrating photovoltaic module to a cathode of the same. The material of the reflective sheath may be isolating.

A manufacturing process of silicone glass concentrator lens, wherein, a mold is provided with a material inlet hole and an air outlet hole that are respectively used for pouring in liquid silicone and exiting air respectively. Wherein, firstly, the mold is connected to a glass carrier plate in a vertical arrangement, then pouring the liquid silicone into the mold through the material inlet hole, thus exiting the excessive air through the air outlet hole of the mold automatically. Through the application of this manufacturing process, a bubble-free silicone glass concentrator lens can be made in a fast manner without the occurrences of liquid silicone overflow, hereby reducing the production cost.

There is disclosed an apparatus for testing concentration-type solar cells. The apparatus includes a light source for emitting light, a focusing unit for focusing the light emitted from the light source and turning the same into a light beam, a testing unit for testing any one of solar cells of a wafer; and a wafer-positioning unit for moving the wafer horizontally and vertically, thus brining a targeted one of the solar cells into contact with the testing unit.
