An emission driver, organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display including the same, and electronic device are disclosed. In one aspect, the emission driver includes first through (n)th emission circuits configured to output a plurality of emission control signals. The emission circuits are connected to a display panel of an OLED display via emission-lines. The emission driver also includes a plurality of first switches configured to electrically connect the emission circuits in series when the first switches are turned on and a plurality of second switches configured to electrically connect the emission circuits in parallel when the second switches are turned on. The second switches are further configured to be turned off when the first switches are turned on and the second switches are further configured to be turned on when the first switches are turned off.

Emission driver, organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display including the same, and electronic device

An organic light emitting display device having a stage circuit capable of creating a scan signal and a light emitting control signal. The stage circuit includes a control unit controlling a first node and a second node corresponding to signals of a first input terminal, a third input terminal, and a fourth input terminal, a first output unit supplying a light emitting control signal to a second output terminal corresponding to voltages at the first node and the second node, and a second output unit supplying a scan signal having different polarity than that of the light emitting control signal to a first output terminal corresponding to a signal of a second input terminal and voltages at the first node and the second node.

Stage circuit and organic light emitting display device using the same

In a scan lines driver that is used for driving scan lines of an organic light emitting diodes (OLED) display, a large voltage drop can develop between the gate or source of one of its transistors and the corresponding drain during a scan signal outputting period. This large voltage drop can excessively stress the one transistor. However, in accordance with the present disclosure, a voltage drop dissipating, second transistor is provided in series with the first transistor for absorbing part of the large voltage drop and thus reducing the stress that is applied to the first transistor.

Scan lines driver and organic light emmiting display device using the same

A stage circuit including an output unit for supplying first or second power source to an output terminal is disclosed. The stage circuit may comprise a bidirectional driver for respectively supplying signals supplied to first and second input terminals, a first driver, and a second driver. The second driver controls the output unit to output the second power source to the output terminal without any voltage loss, corresponding to a second clock signal.
