An illuminated keyboard with a light guide plate of the present invention includes a key module and a luminous module located under the key module. The luminous module includes a transparent light guide plate, a plurality of illuminants, and a light reflection plate located under the light guide plate. The light guide plate is provided with a plurality of light input units which are sections formed at the light guide plate. The illuminants are located corresponding to the light input units, and the light emitted by the illuminants is transmitted into the light guide plate via the sections. The light guide plate is provided with a plurality of light output units to provide the light to the key module. Each light output unit is provided with a plurality of light output members. The quantity of the light output members of each light output unit located at the same side of the illuminants increases with the increasing distance between the light output units and the illuminants. The light emitted from the illuminants to the light input units of the light guide plate, transmitted through the light guide plate and refracted or scattered at the light output units. The quantity and structure of the light output members of each light output unit and the position of the light output units can be adjusted according to the requirements, thereby providing even and bright light to the key module.

The backlit color of each color layer is different from that of another color layer.

The elastic member is secured onto the corresponding light diffusing area and is inserted through the aperture and the opening with the cup securely put on the peg so that the keys may light uniformly.

A dial system for steering wheel of an automobile is divided into two portions electrically connected by a cable and each includes a first casing and a dial set received in the first housing. The dial set includes a number button partially extending the first housing for being operated. A circuit board is received in the first housing for wirelessly transmitting signals when the buttons are operated. A second housing is mounted to the first housing to form a space for receiving the dial set and the circuit board. A battery seat with battery is laterally inserted into the space for providing power to the circuit board. A clamp is mounted to a bottom of the second housing and clamps the steering wheel to hold the dial system in place on the steering wheel for an easy operation.

A dial system for steering wheel of an automobile includes two dials respectively mounted on the steering wheel and each having a first housing and a dial set received in the first housing. The dial set includes a number button and multiple functional buttons partially extending the first housing for being operated. A circuit board is received in the first housing for wirelessly transmitting signals when the buttons are operated. A second housing is mounted to the first housing to form a space for receiving the dial set and the circuit board. A battery seat with a battery is laterally inserted into the space for providing power to the circuit board. A controller is disposed on the automobile for receiving and processing the signals from the first dial and the second dial.

A printed circuit board with thin film switches for a keyboard including an upper board having multiple circuit lines, an insulating separation defining multiple through holes, a lower board having multiple circuit lines and multiple thin film switches mounted on the upper and lower boards. The thin film switch has two thin film conductive elements respectively formed on the upper and lower boards and correspond to one of the through holes in the insulating separation. Each thin film conductive element has a center conductor, at least two outer conductors formed adjacent to the center conductor, and at least two conductive lines connected to the center and outer conductors. With such an arrangement, the areas of the center and outer conductors will be reduced, surfaces of the conductors are even in the curing procedure of fabricating upper or lower board to keep a stable touching sensitivity.

An illuminating keyboard includes an illumination device mounted between the assembly board and the base. The illumination device is composed of a circuit board, two light emitting diodes on top of the circuit board and respectively having thereon an encapsulation and a light tube having two ends respectively connected to a corresponding one of the two light emitting diodes so that light from the two light emitting diodes is able to emit through the assembly board, the thin film circuit board and the plastic plate to light keys on top of the plastic plate.

A multi-layer printed circuit board for a keyboard has an upper and lower layers, an insolating separation positioned between the upper and lower layers, multiple thin film switches having two thin conductive element respectively formed on the upper and lower layer, and multiple spacers positioned between one of the upper and lower layer and the insolating layer. Since each spacer can be selectively formed on the upper layer, lower layer or insolating separation and corresponds to one of the through holes in the insolating separation, the spacers increase a distance between the two thin conductive elements of each thin film switch. Therefore, the sensitivity of touch of the multi-layer PCB can be adjusted by different arrangements of the spacers.

A backlighting keyboard includes a light guide board with multiple fastening members formed at an upper surface, multiple light refracting areas formed at a bottom surface, multiple openings defined through the light guide board, and multiple illuminants respectively received in the openings. A membrane printed circuit board on the light guide board has multiple nodes respectively aligned with the fastening members, and multiple first holes defined through the membrane printed circuit board. A rubber button sheet on the membrane printed circuit board has multiple buttons respectively aligned with the nodes, and multiple second holes defined through the rubber button sheet. Multiple bridges are respectively and pivotally mounted on the fastening members of the light guide board. Multiple keys are respectively and pivotally mounted on the bridges.

A key switch device has a cap support that supports a key cap on a base. The cap support includes intersecting first and second frames which are connected pivotally to each other. The first frame has a pair of through holes, whereas the second frame has a pair of retaining pins for connection with the through holes. Each retaining pin has an outermost head, an inner neck part and a shoulder formed between the outermost head and the inner neck part. The first and second frames are connected to each other by inserting each retaining pin into the corresponding through hole until the outermost head projects outwardly of the through hole and the shoulder engages an outer side of the first frame.

Key switch device having high drawability

A key switch includes a key cap which includes a top wall, a pair of pivot retainers and a pair of latch retainers. Each pivot retainer has a distal end disposed away from the top wall, two opposite side faces, a pivot hole extending through the side faces and opening at the distal end, and a guide rib projecting from one side face. The guide rib is tapered from the top wall toward the distal end and defines an inclined guide surface. A cap support has pivotally interconnected first and second frames which are connected to the key cap. The first frame has two inclined surfaces which are slid along the respective guide surfaces when the cap support is pressed against the key cap for assembly.
