A micro-scale wireless heater includes: a support layer having first and second sides and a cavity formed on the second side; a first electrode plate and a first conduction line disposed on the second side; a second electrode plate and a coil both embedded into a slot on the first side, wherein the support layer is disposed between the first and second electrode plates forming a capacitor, the coil forms an inductor, and the slot communicates with the cavity; and a second conduction line disposed in the cavity. The first and second electrode plates are electrically connected together through the first and second conduction lines and the coil in order. Three exposed surfaces of the second electrode plate, the coil and the first side are flush with one another. The inductor and the capacitor convert an electromagnetic wave into heat. A fabrication method and applications thereof are also provided.

A positioning and measuring system includes: an image scale supporting an object and having positioning mark sets and encoding pattern sets arranged in a two-dimensional array, each of the positioning mark sets including positioning marks, each of the encoding pattern sets including encoding patterns respectively disposed in gaps between the positioning marks; an image capturing device capturing measurement points of the object and an image scale to obtain composite images; a processor processing the composite images and determining one or multiple position relationships between the measurement points according to the encoding patterns and the positioning marks; and a driving mechanism, which is electrically connected to the processor and mechanically connected to the image capturing device or the image scale, and drives one of the image capturing device and the image scale to move relatively to the other of the image capturing device and the image scale.

A positioning and measuring system includes: an image capturing device performing image capturing operations on an object; a driving mechanism mechanically connected to one or both of the image capturing device and the object to cause a relative movement between the image capturing device and the object; and a processor electrically connected to the image capturing device and the driving mechanism and performing steps of: controlling the image capturing device to capture N portions of the object to generate N images before and after controlling the driving mechanism to cause M relative movements between the object and the image capturing device; and extracting feature points of each of the N images corresponding to unique surface morphology of the object and respectively performing cross-image feature point matching according to the feature points of every neighboring two of the N images to obtain information of the M relative movements.

A field emission enhanced handheld atmospheric pressure plasma generator includes: a main body having a positioning slot, a receiving slot and a gas inlet; a cathode body having a first part positioned in the positioning slot; an anode frame and a positioning member both accommodated within the receiving slot; and a cover having a plasma channel and covering the main body. One or each of two sidewalls of the anode frame and the cathode body facing each other has a nanocarbon material layer. A second part of the cathode body passes through the anode frame, is positioned and fixed by the positioning slot and is separated from the anode frame by a gap. The anode frame and the cathode body receive radio frequency power to make a gas, which enters the receiving slot from the gas inlet and passes through the gap, become plasma outputted from the plasma channel.

A detecting platform for holding a tiny insect includes a main body forming a containing space, which passes through the main body and is surrounded by side walls of the main body. A first side wall and a second side wall of the side walls are opposite to each other, and the area of the second side wall is smaller than that of the first side wall. The main body forms a first opening and a second opening passing through the first side wall and the second side wall respectively for the tiny insects entering and leaving the containing space. A bottom plate covers a first through surface of the containing space to form a bottom surface and a detecting area is configured thereon to holding the tiny insects. Accordingly, the tiny insects can stay on the detecting area so as to detect the characteristics of the tiny insects expediently.

An image method for classifying insects includes the following steps: obtaining detecting images of the insects in a detecting area; obtaining a first foreground image related to the insects by background subtraction; extracting the saturation from the first foreground image and eliminating the non-characteristic objects therein to obtain a second foreground image; extracting the characteristics related to the insects from the second foreground image according to a threshold; and, determining the classifications or the sexes of the insects according to the characteristics. Accordingly, the image method for classifying insects can be used for automatically classifying the insects so as to save the manpower and time.

An automatic search system and a method for assisting a mobile apparatus to search for a matching device are provided. The automatic search method includes the following steps. First, N sets of consecutive images are captured at N time points respectively when the mobile apparatus moves along a first direction. The N is a positive integer greater than 1. Next, the N sets of consecutive images are received, and several image features of the N sets of images are compared, so as to determine accordingly whether the matching device exists in the first direction. If it is determined that the matching device exists, a route signal and an adjustment signal are generated. Next, according to the route signal, the mobile apparatus is controlled to move to an adjacent position of the matching device. Also, according to the adjustment signal, the mobile apparatus is controlled to be combined with the matching device.

Automatic search system and method

A mold making system for surface patterning of a roller mold is provided. The roller mold includes a transparent hollow roller and a polymer layer disposed at an outer surface of the transparent hollow roller. The mold making system includes a laser generation device, an optical path changing device, and a control device connected to the optical path changing device. The laser generation device is used for generating an ultrafast laser. The optical path changing device is disposed at an inner space of the transparent hollow roller to receive the ultrafast laser. The control device controls the optical path changing device to guide the ultrafast laser to pass through the transparent hollow roller and to be focused at a focus position in the polymer layer.

A method for manufacturing a bonded wafer with ultra-thin single crystal ferroelectric film is provided, comprising the following steps: providing a single crystal ferroelectric wafer and a carrier wafer while activating the surfaces of the single crystal ferroelectric wafer and the carrier wafer; bonding the activated surface of the single crystal ferroelectric wafer to the activated surface of the carrier wafer; and thinning the single crystal ferroelectric wafer for forming an ultra-thin single crystal ferroelectric film. Wherein, the thinning process in the aforesaid preferred embodiment is the method of polishing, grinding, chemical mechanical polishing, or etching. And the bonding force generated in the bonding process is strong enough to resist the shearing force.

The present invention is related to a method for fabricating an imprint mold which can be used in the field of nano-imprint lithography. Firstly, a diamond film and a photoresist film are successively formed onto a substrate; wherein the photoresist film is more capable of anticorrosion than the diamond film. Then an energy beam lithography system is provided to make the photoresist film form a photoresist mask with particularly arranged patterns. Because of the etching selectivity between the diamond film and the photoresist film, on the surface of the diamond film a pattern can be easily formed with recessions and protrusions according to the photoresist mask by dry etching method.

A process for making a diamond film with low surface roughness. A substrate is provided. A diamond layer is deposited on the substrate. A binder layer is coated over the diamond layer. A carrier plate is provided to join with the binder layer, thereby forming a laminate structure. The substrate is then removed, thereby obtaining a diamond film with a low surface roughness with respect to the surface roughness of the removed substrate.

A process method of using excimer laser for forming micro spherical and non-spherical polymeric structure array includes a photomask which has a selected curved pattern formed thereon. The curved pattern has non-constant widths along a straight line direction. An excimer laser beam source is deployed to project through the photomask on a substrate coated with a polymeric material while the substrate is moving in a direction normal to the straight line direction for the polymeric material to receive laser beam projection with different time period. The polymeric material thus may be etched to different depth to form a three dimensional pattern desired. By projecting and etching the polymeric material two times at different directions or through different photomask patterns, a sphere like or non-sphere like surface of micro array structure may be obtained.

The present invention relates to an arc processing method and device with simultaneous chemical etching wherein the device comprises a conductive electrode, being the cathode, an auxiliary electrode, being the anode, an conductive fluid, and an non-conductive work piece for processing. Processing, and precision processing in particular, of non-conductive materials is obtained by simultaneous arc discharge and etching that are brought about by chemical reactions associated with cathode and anode. Moreover, the present invention discloses simultaneous arc processing and chemical etching that offers improved processing efficiency over conventional arc processing.
