A method of dynamic bias control of a source driver bases on data wing level for power-saving. In order to cover the operating conditions of various loads under normal operations, the output buffer circuit operation is biased. The method utilizes the display gray scale difference between a previous data line and an immediately subsequent data line to determine the bias current to be used for the output buffer. When the difference between the current data line display gray scale and the previous data line display gray scale is not large, the bias current of the output buffer can be reduced. When the difference between the current data line display gray scale and the previous data line display gray scale is large, the bias current of the output buffer is increased and the current of the output buffer is adjusted according to different load conditions to save power.

Dynamic bias control of source driver based on data swing level for power saving

A driving device and an operation method thereof are provided. The driver device includes a source driver circuit, an output switching circuit, and an equalization control circuit. Two input ends of the output switching circuit are coupled to two output ends of the source driver circuit. Two output ends of the output switching circuit are coupled to two data lines of an LED display panel. The equalization control circuit checks whether sub-pixel data of the two data lines meets a predetermined condition. A plurality of sub-pixels located on a current display line of the LED display panel are reset in a reset period. In a data scanning period after the reset period, the equalization control circuit determines whether to control the output switching circuit to perform an equalization operation on the two data lines according to the checking result.

The present invention relates to a polarized light emitting diode (LED) device and the method for manufacturing the same, in which the LED device comprises: a base, a light emitting diode (LED) chip, a polarizing waveguide and a packaging material. In an exemplary embodiment, the LED chip is disposed on the base and is configured with a first light-emitting surface for outputting light therefrom; and the waveguide, being comprised of a polarization layer, a reflection layer, a conversion layer and a light transmitting layer, is disposed at the optical path of the light emitted from the LED chip; and the packaging material is used for packaging the waveguide, the LED chip and the base into a package.

A low-power display control method and associated display controller is provided. The low-power display control method detects a sensing signal to generate a sensing result. A control signal is generated according to the sensing result to control a power conversion controller to operate in a low-power power saving mode. In response to a wake-up event, the control signal is deasserted and an associated auxiliary circuit is also turned off, and then the display controller is woken up to restore to a normal operating mode.

The display controller receives a first video source and a second video source for displaying multiple windows, and includes a line buffer, a deinterlacer, a scaler, and a memory interface unit. The deinterlacer is coupled to the line buffer for selectively deinterlacing data in the line buffer. The de-interlacing method includes steps of de-interlacing based on an iodd input pixel row of an odd field and an ieven input pixel row of an even field to generate an iodd output pixel row, where i is a natural number; de-interlacing based on the ieven input pixel row and an (i+1)odd input pixel row of the odd field to generate an ieven output pixel row; and adjusting i and repeating the above steps to generate a complete interpolated frame.

A method for manufacturing a conductive film as well as the structure thereof and a probe card using the same are provided in the invention. The conductive film is substantially a stacked structure of a specific thickness formed by the adhering and stacking of at least a substrate in a vacuum environment by the use of surface processing and mechanical healing whereas each substrate has an array of metal micro-threads formed thereon, in which the plural metal micro-threads, each being wrapped in an insulating film, are arranged on the substrate to form the array in a unidirectional and single-layered manner by the use of a LIGA process and polymer thin film technology. In an exemplary embodiment, the insulating film can be a polymer thin film of high dielectric constant, being made of a material such as polydimethylsiloxane (PDMA) or polyimide (PI); and the metal micro-thread is made of a high conductivity and high strength Ni&#x2014;Co alloy. Moreover, the so-formed conductive film can be cut into any desired dimensions by the use of an energy beam, such as laser beam, ion beam and plasma beam, etc. while combining the conductive film with a panel so as to be used for forming a probe card with large area detection ability that is low-cost, ease-to-maintain and capable of being adapted for wafers of various bonding pad arrangements.

A low cost user interface display system, like on screen display (OSD), using texture mapping method is presented. The present invention only uses a little texture memory and can generate very fancy user interface display. With the method of texture mapping, even the low cost system can have a colorful, fancy user interface display. A user interface display apparatus using texture-mapping method, comprising a image module, texture patterns, display code-buffer, texture mixer and outline shape index generator to texture-maps the predefined image module in the mixing area with the texture patterns. For some existing OSD devices, the texture-mapping method also can provide a low cost approach to fancy the original OSD display output in the display device. Moreover, changing the texture pattern is very easy to system manufacture, and it can make the user interface looks good and different.

The present invention provides a fabricating process for forming a flexible substrate, including the steps of: providing the substrate which is composed of a top plate and a bottom plate, and then a positive electrode layer and a organic electro-luminescence (EL) are formed in sequence on the bottom plate; after that, a same axial downward patterned template is pressed onto the bottom plate for 'micro-patterning', and thus the positive electrode layer and the organic electro-luminescence (EL) layer on the bottom plate are patterned in the same axial; providing a top plate, on which a metal layer as a negative electrode is formed; similarly, a same axial upper patterned template is pressed onto the top plate for 'micro-patterning', and thus the metal layer on the top plate is patterned in the same axial; finally, superimposing the top plate on the bottom plate so that the axis of patterned positive electrode layer and patterned organic EL layer crisscross with the axis of patterned metal layer to construct a chessboard-like structure.
