An apparatus (e.g., an access point (AP) or a non-AP station (STA)) detects a non-primary subband of an operating bandwidth comprising a primary subband and the non-primary subband to be idle. The apparatus controls a transmit power in performing transmission on at least the non-primary subband.

Wide-bandwidth transmission in wireless communications

Communications between an access point (AP) and a non-AP station (STA) are established in a plurality of frequency segments within a basic service set (BSS) bandwidth or on at least a first link and a second link. An extreme-high-throughput (EHT) subchannel selective transmission (SST) operation is performed between the AP and the non-AP STA in the plurality of frequency segments or on the first link and the second link. A trigger-enabled target wake time (TWT) session period (SP) for the EHT SST operation by either indicating one of the plurality of frequency segments as containing a resource unit (RU) allocation addressed to the non-AP STA or indicating one of the first link and the second link on which an operating frequency segment is located during the TWT SP.

Extreme-high-throughput enhanced subchannel selective transmission operation in wireless communications

Various proposed schemes pertaining to extreme high-throughput (EHT) preamble designs for transmissions to mixed clients in wireless communications are described. In one example, an aggregated Physical Layer Convergence Procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU), which is transmitted over a plurality of 80-MHz bandwidths with data for a plurality of stations (STAs), is received. A preamble of a specific one of the plurality of 80-MHz bandwidths is then decoded.

EHT preamble designs for transmissions to mixed clients in wireless communications

An access point (AP) and a station (STA) communicate with each other, with the AP indicating to the STA either or both of a preamble detection (PD) channel and a signaling (SIG) content channel and with the STA being initially monitoring a primary frequency segment of a plurality of frequency segments in an operating bandwidth of the AP. A downlink (DL) or triggered uplink (UL) communication is performed between the AP and the STA during a transmission opportunity (TXOP) such that: (i) during the TXOP, the STA monitors a preamble on the PD channel and decodes a SIG content on the SIG content channel; and (ii) after an end of the TXOP, the STA switches to the primary frequency segment.

Wide bandwidth transmission schemes

A station (STA) for communicating with an Access Point (AP) in a wireless communication system is provided. The STA includes a wireless transceiver and a processor. The wireless transceiver performs wireless transmission and reception to and from the AP. The processor receives allocation information indicating a first user block for the STA in a first RU of an MU-PPDU from the AP via the wireless transceiver, and the first RU includes multiple user blocks allocated for different STAs. Also, the processor sends Uplink (UL) data or receives Downlink (DL) data in the first user block to or from the AP via the wireless transceiver according to the allocation information.

Apparatuses and methods for flexible Resource Unit (RU) allocation

A non-access point (non-AP) station (STA) multi-link device (MLD) receives a transmission from an access point (AP) MLD. In response to receiving the transmission, the non-AP STA MLD communicates with the AP MLD using an increased number of spatial streams with multi-link dynamic antenna switching at the non-AP STA MLD.

Extreme-high-throughput multi-link dynamic antenna switching in wireless communications

A multi-link device (MLD) includes a transmit (TX) circuit, a receive (RX) circuit, and a control circuit. The control circuit controls the RX circuit to receive a first frame under an operation mode parameter with a first setting, control the TX circuit to transmit a second frame responsive to the first frame under the operation mode parameter with the first setting, and after the second frame is transmitted, controls the RX circuit to receive at least one physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) under the operation mode parameter with a second setting, wherein the second setting is different from the first setting.

Wireless fidelity multi-link device with dynamic operation mode switch and associated method

A wireless communications method includes: obtaining a plurality of stream inputs, wherein the stream inputs include a first stream input complying with a first packet format and a second stream input complying with a second packet format, and the second packet format is different from the first packet format; applying pre-coding to the stream inputs to generate a plurality of pre-coded stream outputs, respectively; and performing wireless transmission upon the pre-coded stream outputs, wherein downlink Multi-User Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MU-MIMO) transmission is involved in the wireless transmission of the pre-coded stream outputs.

A wireless communicating method includes: performing one resource unit allocation upon a channel; and allocating a first resource unit and a second resource unit in said one resource unit allocation to a station, wherein the first resource unit is different from the second resource unit. By using the wireless communication method, throughput rate can be improved.

A data unit processing method performed by a first communication device, comprising: configuring a data unit by the first communication device, the data unit comprising: a specific format preamble following a first packet format; and a symbol part, comprising at least one symbol and following a Wi-Fi long range packet format.
