A backlight module includes a circuit board, light-emitting elements and a light guide component. The light emitting elements are disposed on the circuit board. The light emitting elements include a first light emitting element and a second light emitting element. The light emitting elements are disposed between the light-guiding element and the circuit board. There are no other optical elements between the light-guiding element and the light emitting elements. The light-guiding element has a light guiding portion, and the light guiding portion is composed of a light-transmitting material. The light guiding portion includes at least two first light guiding portions and a second light guiding portion. The first light guiding portions are respectively disposed above the first light emitting element and the second light emitting element. The second light guiding portion is disposed between the first light guiding portions.

Direct type backlight module

An ultraviolet sterilization display device includes a sterilization panel, a titanium dioxide thin film, and a light emitting diode module. The sterilization panel includes an inner surface, an outer surface and a light incident surface. The titanium dioxide thin film is formed on the inner surface of the sterilization panel. The light emitting diode module is aligned with the light incident surface of the sterilization panel, and the light emitting diode module includes a plurality of ultraviolet light emitting diodes. In addition, a sterilization process of an ultraviolet sterilization display device is also disclosed herein.

Ultraviolet sterilization display device and control method thereof

A backlight module of a display device includes a carrier, a plurality of light-emitting diode chips and a first diffuser. The light-emitting diode chips are arranged on the carrier. The first diffuser is over the carrier and the light-emitting diode chips. The first diffuser includes a first substrate, a first prismatic structure and a plurality of first ink structures. The first substrate has an upper surface distal from the carrier. The first prismatic structure is at the upper surface of the first substrate. The first prismatic structure includes a first prismatic sub-structure and a second prismatic sub-structure, and the first prismatic sub-structure, the second prismatic sub-structure and the upper surface of the first substrate together define a gap. The first ink structures are in the gap and are in contact with the upper surface of the first substrate.

Backlight module of display device

A light emitting diode device is provided and includes a first light emitting diode(LED) package emitting light to generate a first brightness. The first LED package includes a first diode being driven in response to a pulse width modulation (PWM) current to generate a first portion of the first brightness and a second diode being driven in response to a first direct current (DC) current to generate a second portion of the first brightness. In a first operation mode of the LED device, the first diode and the second diode are enabled to make the first brightness to reach a first value. In a second operation mode, different from the first operation mode, of the LED device, the second diode is disabled to reduce the brightness from the first value to a second value.

LED device having diodes controlled by different signals, operating method of the same, and display device

The present disclosure relates to a display device including a display circuit, a sensor, a light control circuit and a processing circuit. The display unit includes a first display unit and a second display unit adjacent to the first display unit. The sensor obtains a first brightness value of the first display unit and a second brightness value of the second display unit. The light control circuit adjusts the light transmittance of multiple light control units of the light control circuit. The processing circuit calculates a brightness difference ratio value according to the first brightness value and the second brightness value. When the brightness difference ratio value is greater than a threshold value, the processing circuit adjusts a light control signal to change the light transmittance corresponding to the position of the second display unit.

Display device and image correction method

A light-emitting diode (LED) device includes: an LED chip, a first lens, and a second lens. The first lens is disposed over the LED chip and configured to increase the light extraction efficiency of the LED device, and the first lens includes a first content of titanium dioxide. The second lens is disposed over the first lens and configured to alter the light pattern of the LED device, and the second lens includes a second content of titanium dioxide. The second content of titanium dioxide is more than the first content of titanium dioxide.

Light-emitting diode device and display device

A light emitting diode (LED) backlight module includes an LED light source, a quantum dot enhancement film, a diffuser plate, a blue light reflector, and a blue light filter and reflector. The LED light source includes a plurality of blue LEDs formed therein, the quantum dot enhancement film is excited by blue lights emitted by the blue LEDs to emit red lights and green lights, and the diffuser plate is disposed between the LED light source and the quantum dot enhancement film, and the blue light reflector is disposed on one side, opposite to the quantum dot enhancement film, of the diffuser plate to reflect a part of the blue lights reflected by the diffuser plate to the quantum dot enhancement film. In addition, the blue light filter and reflector is disposed between the diffuser plate and the quantum dot enhancement film.

LED backlight module

A direct-light-type backlight module, a display device and its assembly method are disclosed in the present invention, wherein the backlight module comprises a plurality of LED strips, a reflector, a plurality of cover portions and a plurality of connectors. The LED strips respectively comprise a plurality of LED packages. The reflector is set above the LED strip. The reflector has a plurality of light openings and a plurality of cover openings, and the light openings match the LED packages respectively, so that the LED packages could pass the light openings of the reflector. The cover portions respectively connect one side of the cover openings on the reflector, and two adjacent cover portions at a row are crossover in a X-shaped way in a side view direction of the reflector. The connectors are disposed in the cover openings and are obliquely covered by the cover portions, and the connectors electrically connect to the LED strips. The present invention can significantly improve the uniformity of light intensities at the light-emitting surface, and the display quality is significantly improved.

Direct light-type backlight module, display device and its assembly method

A phosphor includes a europium-doped nitride phosphor powder and a manganese-doped fluoride phosphor powder. The weight ratio of the europium-doped nitride phosphor powder to the manganese-doped fluoride phosphor powder is in a range of 17.5% to 22.5%.

Phosphor and light emitting device and backlight module including the same

A backlight module including a back board, a reflector, at least one light source, at least one lens unit, and a light leakage feature is disclosed. The reflector includes a base and at least one side wall connected to the base and is disposed on the back board. The light source is disposed on the board and emits light. The lens unit is disposed on the light source and configured to diffuse the light emitted from the light source for generating light rays impinging on the side wall. The light-leakage feature is disposed at the side wall and configured to allow some of the light rays to pass through the side wall.

Backlight module

A circuit of light-emitting elements connected between two power terminals is disclosed in the present disclosure. The circuit of light-emitting elements includes a smooth conducting line, multiple light-emitting elements, and a zigzag conducting line. The smooth conducting line is connected to one of the power terminals. One terminal of each light-emitting element is electrically connected at a different position of the smooth conducting line. The zigzag conducting line is connected to the other of the power terminals, and the other terminal of each light-emitting element is electrically connected at a different position of the zigzag conducting line. Each shortest path, starting from one of the power terminals, passing through any the light-emitting element along the smooth conducting line, and ending at the other of the power terminals along the zigzag conducting line, has substantially a same resistance value.

Circuit of light-emitting elements

A light bar includes a wiring substrate, a plurality of light sources, and at least one high efficient heat-dissipating component. The wiring substrate has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The second surface is divided into at least one high efficient heat-dissipating section and at least one low efficient heat-dissipating section. The light sources are respectively disposed on the first surface opposite to the high efficient heat-dissipating section and the low efficient heat-dissipating section. The high efficient heat-dissipating component is disposed on the high efficient heat-dissipating section.

Light bar and backlight module

A light emitting device includes a body, and a lampshade, a heat dissipation device and an adjusting plate are disposed on the body. The lampshade covers a light emitting diode (LED) module of the body and is capable of rotating relative to the body. The heat dissipation device has a plurality of heat dissipation fins covering a part of a lower edge of the lampshade, and a gap exists between two adjacent heat dissipation fins. The adjusting plate corresponds to the lower edge of the lampshade, and can be driven by the lampshade to adjust the width of the gap, so as to control a light profile generated by the light emitting device.

Light profile controllable light emitting device

A light emitting diode bulb including a heat sink, a light source plate, a reflective frame and a secondary optical component is provided. The light source plate includes a circuit board disposed on the heat sink and a plurality of light emitting devices disposed on the circuit board. The reflective frame disposed on the light source plate includes a plate portion and a reflective pillar. The plate portion has a plurality of openings exposing the light emitting devices. The secondary optical component has a first optical surface and a second optical surface. An absolute value of the slope of a tangent line of any point on the first optical surface with respect to the heat sink is constant. An absolute value of the slope of a tangent line of any point on the second optical surface is gradually smaller along the direction away from the heat sink.
